I’d say they got it going on up in Caldwell County…Just this weekend, a dear friend told me that a local sports voice told him that Hibriten’s player count is comparable to Hickory’s numbers.

We got going late but had to cancel game situation. All teams scrimmaged and did a 5 min rotation on offense and defense before swapping teams. ER is still learning their system and everything is new but man they have some athletes over there. Providence is pretty dang good with some monster receivers. N Meck has athletes but looked a little young and inexperienced. Burns kept it simple on both sides. Max didn’t touch it much but when he did he was getting his yards. lol No score was taken but all teams got some good reps considering the weather.
I believe Alexander Central scrimmages Friday 10 am. I'm going to take a bullet for the team and watch it LOL
Hibriten scrimmage moved up to Thursday from Friday will be 7:00 tomorrow

I dont think Ashe is expected to be that great this year so it might not be much to watch. We probably scheduled it because we have a good relationship with the school and they run the air raid so we can see if our secondary can cover.

Actually a minor groin injury. He won't play tomorrow but probably be back week one two at the latest
I know he was hurt all summer long! Groin issue! But still went to a bunch of camps over the summer hurt! My resources say they never let it heal up! Continue training/ attending camps all summer
Yeah. Think he had a bad concussion. He got cleared from hospital last night.

Let me start by saying Maiden kept out several starters tonight played some of the Jv freshman.
In tens. Al Brown drove down the field and scored then Maiden got the ball and scored 55 yard touchdown on the first play pass to smyre. After that both teams moved the ball a little but no more scores. when we got into live action it ended up being 14 to 6 Al Brown.. maiden touchdown came from Seagle on about a 57-yard touchdown pass. Both of Brown's touchdowns I believe came on Rushes. But like I said several starters sitting out and on defense a lot of times we were playing four. freshmen at once. Maiden looked a lot better this week and should improve every week through the season

West Stokes played solid and had a great passing scheme against Saint. Saint ran the wing-T most of the night and moved the ball albeit with smaller chcunks. If scoring means anything West Stokes 28 Saint 14. Lake Norman is the best high school team I have seen the last 4 years. Biig OL with a dangerous and accurate QB and more skill players surrounding him. They will be a force in their classification for sure. HHS moved the ball some, but no where near what LN did. Score ended 18-3 Lake Norman.

Thanks for the update heard Lake Norman should be good this year. West Stokes has some good athletes and QB was injured last year. He is pretty accurate.
Wow thats bout a moral victory ha ha. Im not expecting much from North this year other than what Agee can do, glad he stayed but how was ole NL looking? One of their worse JV years last year which aint good and we know how the varsity faired so yeah not expecting much unless they got some improvements and surprises I guess
