When it comes to vaccines, who is right? Autism is on the rise, as well as adhd. Is this because our medical experts are better at detecting than they were 20 years ago, or because of all the toxins in our foods, and the medications that the mothers are taking? Could it be both?

We were not told the truth about vaccines during covid. I'm very skeptical to believe some of these experts, especially ones that become government appointed.

The one thing that can't be argued is that Big pharma has gotten wealthier over the last 5 years. Not that they were ever struggling.
ADAHD & autism diagnoses are definitely on the rise. We're absolutely better at detecting them than we used to be, but toxins may very well play a role, too. The one thing that is absolutely decided is that vaccines have nothing to do with it. There is no link and never has been.

We were given the best available information throughout Covid. When new stuff contradicting the earlier info was discovered, recommendations changed. It didn't mean we were lied to. Even overstating the effectiveness of the vaccine isn't really a lie in my book. They didn't know about some rare exceptions yet.

Big pharma has gotten wealthier, yes. I trust govt appointees more than I do them.

Buying into and promoting vaccine conspiracies does nothing but lower vaccination rates, which weakens herd immunity and leads to needless deaths. These deaths are the cost of putting someone like RFK Jr. in charge of HHS.

Spreading out vaccines over multiple visits causes kids to miss vaccines because of missed appointments, delays overall immunity, and increases the chance of adverse effects. Japan tried this in 1993 and broke up the MMR vaccine into multiple shots. It led to mumps outbreaks in 2001, 2005, 2010, and 2015. They changed the schedule back in 2020 and haven’t had another outbreak as a result.

Some people will have adverse effects from any vaccine. That’s math, and it’s unfortunate. Some people also have a peanut allergy. Should we remove peanuts entirely from the food chain? The benefits to society from vaccines as a whole outweigh any negatives they cause. Some of the rise in ADHD and autism rates is due to better methods of identification. They have never been linked to vaccines at any point through any research. There may very well be something causing those rates to rise, but it’s not vaccines.

I sit on the board of a museum, and it has an iron lung in storage that somebody donated years ago. A person lived in it for 30 years before dying from the effects of polio. I wish it were on display in the lobby so people could remember what life was like before vaccines eliminated the worst of the diseases that plagued us. It’s sad that arguably some of the greatest inventions in human history are now so demonized by fools and grifters.

Initially, I might agree about Covid. The problem I had was several months in, we continued to only be fed info from one side. I feel we were seriously lied to about Covid, its origin, and treatment to fight it. There's a skit out there with Chris Cuomo fairly recently eating crow in front of an audience. Back a few years ago, he and other msm puppets ripped Joe Rogan for taking a 'horse dewormer.' Did I miss them apologizing?

Quite a few Doctors had been saying Ivermectin was a very good option, along with hydroxychloroquine, as long as it was taken before you had to be hospitalized. These doctors were ridiculed by msm, and their medical experts. Big pharma had too much invested, and too many people profited as well. At the expense of its citizens.

So I'm very weary when our government tells us that something is good for us.

The worldwide medical consensus is still that neither Ivermectin nor Hydroxychloroquine are effective for Covid. Several doctors who prescribed them have faced disciplinary measures, including losing their licenses to practice medicine. It is unethical for doctors to prescribe untested medications.

They were rightly ridiculed for promoting unfounded medical advice.

Ivermectin is not unfounded. They were able to sell it as a vet medication, to scare people. Ivermectin works, and worked well. It’s also very affordable. That goes against what the pharmaceutical companies are doing.

The things hidden from the public during Covid were worse than the virus.

Check out the movie Crisis. ‘Based’ on true story. One of the things in it is a big drug company pushing a new medication and the college testing it.

No. Ivermectin does not work. It can kill covid in a petri dish. It is not effective for use in an actual human because the dose needed would be way, way too high.

It's not just pharmaceutical companies saying this; it's health organizations and physician associations from around the world -- multiple independent groups from around the world. Merck manufactures Ivermectin, and even they said there was no scientific basis to justify its use.

Tell that two a dozen of my friends (in their 70’s) that took ivermectin and recovered very quickly from COVID. Believe everything you read and not what you see Datt.

You're believing doctors and scientists that are most likely tied to some big medical organization, or a government ran agency. Which I don't understand how you can still feel this way given what has been uncovered the last several years about them.

Here's some examples of why you shouldn't trust what you're told:

The protests are mostly peaceful
Biden was the President from 21-24
Covid didn't start in a lab
Fauci had your best interests in mind

NOT. EVEN. DEBATABLE.

And @DuckDevil is such a sheep that if he coughs, he spits up wool

I just told you: these are doctors and scientists from around the world, from independent groups, professional associations, public & private industry. And Merck itself said that's not the right way to use their product -- a product they profit off of. There is no worldwide conspiracy among doctors and scientists who have no connection to each other nor to big pharm.

The overwhelming majority of people at every protest have been peaceful.

Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr was the 46th President of the US, serving from noon on January 20th, 2021 through noon on January 20th, 2025.

It is inconclusive where Covid started.

Dr. Fauci had our best interests in mind.

Every single thing you said is debatable. There is not one verified fact in your favor that says otherwise.

When Covid hit, I listened to a virologist from Finland. He was regarded as one of the best in the world. He stated by the time a vaccine was developed that it would be too late to be effective for the initial Covid virus before it mutated. Many of my friends took the shot and developed Covid multiple times. I never got Covid and I sure as hell didn’t wear a mask everywhere I went. Like Mac said, these doctors and scientists have their best interest in themselves first and the public second.

Your post shows that you fundamentally misunderstand what the COVID vaccine does. It was never 100% effective at preventing infection. Its primary benefit is significantly reducing your risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death, and it’s very effective at doing so.

The anecdotal information you add doesn’t prove anything about vaccine effectiveness. Individual experiences are anecdotes, not evidence of how a vaccine performs across a population.

Ingesting horse dewormer does nothing to prevent COVID or meaningfully treat its symptoms. It’s a placebo for stupid people.

You mean this one Finnish virologist is the only person putting the public first? Or only those scientists and doctors telling you what you wanted to be true? Come on, you can't possibly be claiming that there's a perfect split between all the pro-vax doctors being compromised and all the anti-vax doctors being purists.

Fauci was worth an estimated $5 million in 2019. It jumped to over 12 million in 21. Just an honest doctor looking out for his fellow Americans. Nothing at all to see here.

Look at who donates to politicians and our media. This is a REAL problem. They are all bought and paid for.

Gentlemen, follow the money. It's that simple.

The irony of these conversations is that the COVID vaccine is arguably the greatest accomplishment of the Trump administration, but he poisoned his base against it so much with his nonsense that they’re not even able to take credit for it. It’s legitimately hilarious.

Go back and watch videos of our media, and the experts during Covid. They really laid it on thick. Get vaccinated and you won't catch covid. Then, get vaccinated to limit the risks, to don't forget your booster... You see the pattern. Those of you unvaxxed don't love your family!!! Wear your masks you worthless peasants!!! The death tracker at the bottom of CNN'S screen was a clever idea.

I swear I saw @DuckDevil relatives driving down the road, wearing a mask with no one else in the car. Could have been him I saw on a scooter with a helmet and mask on.

First off, I don't defend billionaires. I just am not quite ready to call all of them monsters like you and your protege. Second, you're asking how Fauci increased his wealth, and you have no problem with it when it more than doubled during Covid? You see nothing wrong there?

Oh, I get it. Your side still hails him as a hero. Gotcha.

Make sure you wear a masks to prevent getting Covid and to keep your neighbor from getting it. We were fed many lies, but you can’t seem to think for yourself. It’s clear at this point that they’re fanboys and are going to defend him no matter what. It’s an article of faith among the Left that you’re supposed to rally around this charlatan no matter what and they’ve done exactly that. Now, Datt will spin that the origin of the virus has gone from a wet market to golly gee who knows where it came from gee whiz it’s inconclusive even after no serious person on planet earth still thinks it came from a wet market ( Gee whillikers where did it come from then? Probably that lab down the street doing gain of function research. Yeh you might be right Sherlock.)
So yes, the Fauci diaries have clearly established a political motive for most of all his failures. His scientific mind was always questioning, wondering while his political instincts led him to shut down debate, ridicule his opponents. I am Science!!
We’re meant to forget the businesses destroyed, the Twitter ax canceled, nah I think I’ll remember and try to warn people the next time the govt tries to pull this ****.

Overstating the effectiveness? That would be a great way to frame it if you were St Tony’s personal attorney but if you were a regular American looking for answers not so much.
We were told mass vax would prevent transmission. Uh not so much.

This is one of the oddest part of the ‘Duck Devil’ experience right? You platform these odd ducks as if they’re gospel and then duck and run? As if Aaron Rupar hold some power with us ( he doesn’t) and then act as if you’ve dropped some imaginary mic.
It’s all quite bizarre and weird and performative. And it would all be very strange but I think you and your cohorts think it stands for something very provocative and edgy and cool and it just lands very flat somehow, right
