BYU has been from the start. Utah kid plus the fact the BYU struck out on low post players in the portal and are desperate for him makes this almost a given.
Well that stinks if true. Kohler is what this team needed.
I believe its always been Mitchell or bust. Kohler was a long shot but had the connection with Pope in the past so they had to shoot their shot. Hall was never considered because of his lengthy past of instability going all the way back to high school.
So it will either be Mitchell who ive wanted from the start or Tyson who I find interesting but doesn't move the needle for me in August.

BYU had the inside track, I think we all knew that. As much as I liked Kohler and his fit, Mitchell is as much of a great pickup as Kohler would have been.
Moreno, Momcilovic & Mitchell ( The Three "M" migo's? anyone?) sounds like a very formidable frontcourt. That trio stacks up against anyone. Florida, Texas, Illinois, anyone. Given the extra depth of Williams, McBride, Ousmane and Big Franck, I would feel even more confident heading into the season.
This team ends up pretty loaded in the end. Wrap up Mitchell and let's go !

One has to think that if Pope and Co are helping Mitchell get eligible there is a handshake agreement in place. Close the deal Mark and lets get the season rolling.

Actual UK fans care. He averaged over 6 rebounds per game and 2 blocked shots in 23 minutes per game. If healthy, he’s a very serviceable backup.

UK ranked 3rd in the transfer portal...BYU 48th. Not going to cry about "losing" a guy that was always going to end up at BYU anyway.
and if Marc Hill and Chandler is "eating our lunch" than it must have been the day mom packed liver loaf and they can have it.

Among our top 11 or so there will be one white guy. 3 total on the team now and one is the best 3 point shooter on the team. What’s the acceptable total if three is too many?

Question. How is Hall an "o-for" when we told him no after speaking with him? Did we offer him a scholarship and he decline? Did we offer Kohler or just have a couple conversations to feel out interest and fit? Follow up question. If 10 people apply and are interviewed for a 1 spot job opening, is the company 1 for 10 if they hire the best candidate? Asking for a confused fanbase.
