KORU might be looking to run again.

The non leveraged EWY chart looks good.
Lots of really good looking charts across many sectors. XLB/materials might be a good long call play.

Josh Brown loving META’s chart right now.

The market seems happy with todays cpi.
Core CPI YoY dropped to 2.5%. Hard to make the argument for a rate increase. Besides, how would a 25 bps increase help fully open the straight and calm down the Middle East? LOL!

Been trimming last week and buying a few biotechs. My cash level in trading account is highest in years. considering adding some ETFs in my trading account as I’m shocked at the performance of some YTD. My IRA is all ETFs and I’m outperforming my stocks.

AI/Chip/Data Center world has me a bit cautious. Biggest issue is I don’t see how Anthropic and OpenAI can win if everyone starts launching open weight models like Meta and NVDA did or closed like GM for its cars. The fact that the IPOs were delayed and nobody is really talking about it is odd. Second biggest issue is China - they’ve been awfully quiet. All they need to do is start pushing cheap chips and models to really turn things upside down. No way China is gonna let the US own the future of AI.
Speaking to why AI investing is so interesting. xAI was out of the race basically and now is right back in, nipping on the heels of the companies that had huge head starts.

IIRC, Elon was getting first picks of NVDA chips for the past few years.

CBRS was up double digits in regular trading.

Down double digits on earnings. Double miss, but raised guidance. And despite missing on rev's, it still showed 80% yoy growth.

I have a small position. I'd like to add at some point soon.

CSCO with a double beat and raise……but down 7%

Still digesting the move from the spring where it was up 50% in a month.

Jeff DeGraf on yesterdays closing bell.

Sell this Gold bounce short term, but buy the dip for a long term hold.

OpenAI Chief Revenue Officer leaving her role less than a year after she “to pursue other opportunities” = that can’t be a good sign with an IPO looming

Don't know her background, but maybe they need a CRO with public company experience or something like that?

former CEO of Slack and a longtime salesforce executive….OpenAI has has 4-5 high level execs leave in couple months….isn’t this the exact time these execs want to stick around for the rich IPO spoils?

@RUAldo

Bought some SAIL. Looking for the breakout past $20.

Also bought BOT. Robotics ETF.
I was just looking at BOT yesterday and have SAIL on my list.

any thoughts on mega batteries as the next infrastructure frontier? I’m starting to research large scale battery plays that plug into the electrification narrative. Something different than generators. Curious to get some thoughts…

T2K = you have any thoughts on Zura Bio (ZURA)? Been looking at it recently. Quarter they just reported was a mixed bag although I have a hard time interpreting early stage biotechs. It’s basically traded side ways this week but got some nice PT increases.

TSLA? Though you'd be paying a premium.

Ford or GM are in on it too I think. Much cheaper.

Not sure who else.

Going to go from “Elon was dumb to acquire Solar City, it failed” to solar powered, battery back up mini data centers in homes across the country. Quite the continuum.

Glad I didn’t jump back into Generac and bailed on Sunrun as this Powerwall is exactly what people need and is a grand slam since you can store from the grid and don’t need to go the solar route. I haven’t looked at the pricing/packages or capacity but it’s impressive. Also ties into the humanoid play as they will need a power back up source.

Anyone else buy STDN?
I had 100 shs and got out when price hit my cost so no harm. Too impatient to wait for these businesses to ramp up. Did buy 70 shs of XE which had been in a long decline (company has some very real backers like Amazon and others IIRC) and sold at $500 profit when it started back up recently. I’m not a trader at all but am too impatient for these nuclear stocks and got lucky holding for only a month or so.

I didn’t do any research but guessing STDN is just the nuclear flavor of the week. I rode OKLO and SMR up and down when nuclear was pumping - biggest mistake I made was waiting too long to take profits. These stocks run quick and fade quicker once people start talking reasonable product/build timelines.

So I should take my 10% and move on.

Depends on how large the position. You could trim a bit on the way up, which is what I used to do fairly consistently and booked my highest overall returns. It wasn’t until this year that I got greedy and let some positions ride only to get burned by the volatility. Book some profits when it makes sense on winners…drop losers quickly.

Booked some gains on MSFT now that PE back up to 27+. Avg cost basis now at a reasonable $321/sh and I totally missed the pandemic bottom.

10% is a great day, but not a great overall move on a position. If you have conviction you should stick with it.

I just bought some.
Actually by chance saw a research analyst (he may also be running money) online just mention the nuclear sector (small reactor segment) and how he will re-look in 2 or 3 years. I don’t know of any out there that are super-cheap despite low current revenues.
