OT: Paducah KY Oktoberfest

Has anyone ever attended it? I am looking for somewhere fairly close to OB for a weekend getaway. I was figuring hitting Lambert's in Sikeston, Mo on the way back. Paducah is supposed to have a nice downtown arts and crafts community.

Helen, GA Oktoberfest is good, but seems like it was about 7 hrs from OB.

Prairie Arts Festival is always good in W. Point. Plus, we have a game that night.

Never been to the October fest there but have been to Paducah a few times for work. They have a nice downtown area and are spending a lot of money to revitalize the area. I'm sure it would be a good time.
