Long overdue. These Hall of Fame votes are ludicrous how long it takes to recognize greatness.

Took 18 years for Tommie to get into the College Hall of Fame. Someone needs to explain to me what the Sam Hill they were doing for 18 years? (there's a 10 year auto wait). He should've been in 18 minutes after the Fiesta Bowl.

So good to see Roger get in. All of our hearts will forever be with the '83 team.... but dayum ... I love me that 1982 squad.

Craig at fullback was more than an experiment. It put our two most explosive runners on the field at the same time. In addition Craig was a willing and effective blocker. Craig’s team first attitude and versatility made him that much more attractive to the NFL. He was one of those guys Pelini would have just called “a good football player”. Craig could have played on either side of the ball.

No doubt he was a good athlete in wrestling and track . But he never played on the d side of football when it mattered so he thats a big assumption.

Was this the injury that Gill incurred in a game against Missouri? Cheap shot when he was the holder on an extra point or FG attempt if memory serves.

No coach in America is having their QB1 as a holder on EP and field goals. Most of the time it’s not even a Qb.

I can honestly say if Craig wasn't from Nebraska he would still be one of my all-time favorite NFL backs. The high stepping, the hands, the multi-dimensional player, the first 1000-1000, the Super Bowl record. I absolutely loved this dude as an NFL player and the Husker ties are the sweetener.
