Still prefer Kohler if we can pick him up. I assume that they are waiting to see who exactly will be confirmed eligible before making a final offer to any of the players on our radar for the 15th roster spot.

I think any of the players mentioned boosts our ceiling and improves our potential. Some, moreso than others. I would prioritize getting the confirmation and making Kohler option #1. I see him shoring up the rebounding and defensive side of the equation and adding more chemistry and team versatility offensively.

The case could be made Mitchell or Tyson could be an even better fit. I trust Coach Pope knows his team well enough that, whomever he picks and gets to come here, it will be a solid boost for the team as a whole.

It's good to have options
Yeah. Honestly, I take the first one of the three that wants to be here. Either player makes us better, but really wanting to be a Kentucky Wildcat means a lot if everything else is close to equal. I think Mitchell fills a void more with having Momcilovic on the roster, but can’t go wrong with any of these guys. Great problem to have this late in the process no question.

none of these guys want to be here....they want to be in the pros. if they got drafted thats where they would be. people need to stop with this fantasy

No he's not. What have you been watching.
Yea he never pounded the ball into the ground last year. Didn’t say he wasn’t a good player just that he isn’t a guard who likes to pass much. He likes to force his own. Maybe he gets better at that but as a senior he missed wide open guys non stop

Is everyone as bought into the idea that Hawthorne is gonna be a star? I can see why his physical tools are enticing, but eventually it has to lead to production. Hoping he develops into what he can, but rn it’s really easy to see upsides of recruiting over him
Not betting on “star.” I think he could be a Darius Miller type in time.

florida lost to iowa last year... iowa. where is walter Clayton jr?
florida may have lost to iowa and Kentucky could still beat them, but I have no intention of watching Haugh, Condon and Chin foul and grab every offensive rebound over and over all game long in Gainesville.

Florida choked to iowa. Big time. They are gonna be a 1 seed for the 3rd year n a row most likely though.

You keep getting 1 seeds you put yourself in position to do well n march.

Not sure why some of our fans (the other guy. Not u) dont seem to understand this.

They def have a good run going with the 3 front court guys all coming back. I’d expect a 1-2 seed this year for sure for them. I think most agree they will be essentially the same team they were this past year. Great front court with guards that could hold them back. I will say losing Handlogten is going to hurt more than some realize. That’s a great 4th big to rotate in that’s gone. I do think we will match up way better with them this year.

I believe they’ll be preseason #1. Not sure if that big Serbian guy is still on the team. I believe they got a freshman 7 footer although he wasn’t ranked all that high.

It will be interesting to see what happens to them once the big 3 are gone.

I have the feeling golden leaves after this year. I think if they didn’t come back he would’ve already left.

Walk ons no longer exist.

There’s now an absolute 15 player roster limit, with all 15 getting schollies and no going over 15 for any reason.
You can have a couple walkons long as don't go over total 15.. You ask why? No idea but you can..
