Sounds like you're talking about before the Supreme Court gave the greenlight for red states only to eliminate blue leaning districts, though I do think we still win easily but by a smaller margin than we would have otherwise.

to be honest, it's unclear to me if the redistricting will have the effect a lot of us think. If we make the assumption that the numbers are right, voters 27% each for democrats and republicans, and the disapproval ratings for trump and direction of the country, then it's possible independents vote strongly dem, and some republicans, also disenchanted with the country's direction, cross over.

Things need to take a decided turn, or democrats need to "step on/in it" for republicans to win IMO. A lot can change between now and November and voters are fickle, so you never know what they think when they go in to the voting booth.

Just one example, in Maine, do voters go with a known(flawed) - Collins - or with the Democrat who now has admitted all his flaws - abuse, Nazi, liar, homophobe (true or not) because they want a direction change in DC. Who knows?

The redistricting was engineered by the Radical Right because they know what's coming in November.
What they fail to apparently realize is that somewhere down the road, Dems will return the favor.

somebody should have told Harry Reid when he voided the filibuster over appointment of federal judges. He got the "favor" returned via three supreme court justices. Things in the government seem to work better when members of the parties work better together.

SPR now down to its lowest point since the early eighties. Trump is trying to keep gas prices low before an election, and is further jeopardizing our national security to do it.

WSJ reporting that trump is considering leaving Iran with 0 of his stated objectives reached. Compete and total surrender to Iran. And cult marches on in lock step.
