Football can't get here soon enough. The WNBA is nothing more than a reality TV show. I have yet to see a single headline regarding the actual game of basketball, all just a bunch of drama. The s****y thing is it is actually bringing them attention. How many WNBA threads have there been on a Mississippi State message board in the last few months

It’s definitely a league/sport that is exploding in popularity. The new talent coming in the next few years is INSANE. Definitely big things coming for the W.

It’s not for everyone with all that said. Many guys prefer watching other guys. It’s all good.

I personally love it… the fans are so much more polite, they are more beautiful, it’s just a damn fun atmosphere to enjoy with the wife and kids. Cool seeing it becoming a staple.

WNBA is creating their own version of Gulf Coast Wrestlin"
Stir the crowd at all cost.
I watch ZERO wnba but I told someone about a month or so ago that this $#|t has to be staged - scripted whatever.
No way they would really allow these type of fouls to occur in a NBA game or women’s college or HS games.
And the only way I know about the shenanigans/antics of the wnba is the stuff I see on Twitter.

Zero threads about the WNBA would be too many.

It’s only getting clicks now because of CC and SC. Without them it’s irrelevant. No new lezzies coming into the league is going to move the needle

I can understand the wishful thinking in this post. I used to feel this way too. I get it. There will be many more talented/charismatic players take their place. It’s like saying the nba will fold when Jordan left.

Have fun with your guy watching.

Looks like the same white privilege I experienced growing up in public school.
Yep, I was one of 2 white guys on the basketball team in high school. I got treated like this most of my 4 years. My parents raised me to treat everyone the same, but I never was when I played sports. This crap with the WNBA gives black people a bad name. You'd think they would try to police themselves, but they have zero awareness. Being a bunch of homosexuals makes it even worse.

Sports are the only structure they’ve ever had and they are borderline most of the time

There's nothing to sell sports fans in the WNBA. Let's be honest, it's a league of gay women *not that there's anything wrong with that*. Reese and Cunningham are like the Brylie St. Clairs of the league getting ad money. Outside those two and Clark, I couldn't tell you who plays in that league. Is that girl fighting Cunningham from LSU maybe? I don't know.

I actually watched most of this game. Outside of this ridiculous foul (it’s on the player, and she got ejected) and a BS technical on CC after accidentally running into a ref (it got reversed after the game), it was a decent watch.

The best 3 or 4 teams in the league are full of very good basketball players and can be reasonably entertaining if you know a little bit about basketball and don’t just watch it for the dunks.

The league has problems, but they’re not as big as the folks who never watch a single minute that’s not in an internet snippet like to believe. The crowds and money generated are bigger than they’ve ever been. CC was obviously the catalyst, but the crowds are getting bigger across the board.

They’ve got real problems to deal with, but I’m not gonna root against them. I like that girls who work their butts off to be among the best in the world at their sport can make a good living.

CC...watch her because she plays like nobody else. Reminds me of Pete Maravich

Sophie....watch her play anything

Rest of the "league".....only ever watched or will watch because of the above-mentioned

Anyone who makes social commentary claims on the league, based on clips they see on X or Reddit, is a 17ing fool.

Those clips are obviously packaged to generate outrage and lead simpletons to reaffirm their already well known biases.

Don’t watch something you don’t enjoy.
Don’t get sucked into faking care for something you don’t care about.

Anyone who hangs out on a message board just waiting to make a statement contrary to what he knows the majority of the board's beliefs are just to cause controversy is a troll. And anyone who takes them for anything more is a 17ing fool .
