There is probably a time limit on how long the house can be empty before the university has a chance to take it over. There are probably some shenanigans from the university to make the repairs take too long. Don't worry, they've got this.

I am middle class. I should have been more specific and included "in a prime real estate area" in my post. On top of that, it was a joke. Does PSU want all those fraternities gone? You betcha. Would they set one on fire? I doubt it.
