Her own coach pans her position. So do other coaches, some more so. So do some players and people outside the sport. While she enjoys significant support, there's evidence she's feeling the ire. Just this week, she said in response to a reporter's question about the transgender matter that she now wanted to talk about other things and touted how great the WNBA is, even though plainly this issue isn't dead. Forget the actress, but saw a person blasting a mom/actress who was proudly talking about her three Trans kids. The gist was that its like getting hit by lightening three times, OR just maybe the mom has something to do with it.

It does happen locally though. Took one of my children to a school meeting years ago. Watched a couple walk in with their child. This was maybe 3rd or 4th grade. In case you missed it, she was at a press conference after the team`s - Indiana Fever - win. She answered one question then when an Outkick reporter tried to ask her a question about Sophie Cunningham`s(her teammate by the way) comments she suddenly got the hell out of there. She was polite, said "thank you have a good day" and some team spokesperson did say, when she was asked the question, "we`re going to shut it down" or some spineless comment like that. I`m sure they have been told to be quiet about the issue of biological men playing in women`s sports(and robbing countless biological girls of championships, trophies, etc.) but I`m sure they have told Sophie not to comment. She appears the only one - at least that I know of - that has the courage to speak up. Is there anyone else in this league that has? Caitlin Clark says very little even though she has been treated so unfairly by the league. Their coach is awful, said she wasn`t "educated enough" to offer a viewpoint or some BS. If Aliyah had spoke up and backed Sophie, what would they have done? The league won`t even punish Angel Reese and Paige Beukers for betting $400 on a game between their teams!! Oh sure, they were just joking, right. Try that in the NBA, NFL, MLB and see what that gets you, or even the NCAA. Women fought so hard for Title Nine, equal treatment, etc. and now they are betraying their own. Very sad to see. Sophie is now a hero in my book.

It's her freedom as well as anyone else to keep quiet talking about it only potentially brings more problems
