"I am definitely not here to mock, make fun of, or disrespect any community or personal choices," Freedom added.

Oh, gotcha.
It wasn't serious, but it wasn't done to mock, make fun of, or disrespect.
Crystal clear.**

So what if he mocks.
He’s right.
The whole trans/women sports thing is one giant mockery.
He said he wasn't.
But yes it's a mockery that it's such a vitally important issue for people so much so that folks will vote down other obvious things (better healthcare, lower taxes on poor, higher taxes on rich) just to impact women sports that they don't watch.

Sadly, it’s all connected. The same politics that keep improvements to our lives in areas you mention from happening are the same that can’t go against their tribe and call out obvious stupidity. Collective consensus is a huge problem.

Question:

When you see people advocating for men to play sports and share locker rooms with women despite some women objecting to it, your inclination is to ponder other things like taxes, and not be concerned about the growing absurdity of our culture?

Maybe if the party that supposedly has all the answers on healthcare & taxes did not have prominent members supporting ideas that are opposed by large majorities of the population (Defund the police, genetic males playing women's sports, supporting hamas). Support of these issues gives middle America pause when considering the rest of their platform.

Why do you need higher taxes? Congress already spends trillions and doesn’t read the swamp written bills it goes toward before signing.
The poor don’t pay any taxes except sales taxes on anything they buy with cash.
How can we possibly have better health care? Educate “smarter” doctors? Apparently you mean “free” healthcare.

Yes because it's performative "woke" culture to act like you care about that, but then elect the guy that bragged about going into teenage women beauty pageant "locker rooms".

Somehow calling it a changing room makes you not mad and you'll excuse that guy but calling it a locker room makes you mad because of someone who likely chopped their dick off just wanting to exist.

Just go do a stat check on how many trans people have been assaulted in bathrooms vs. ones who have done the assaulting. It's staggering - even to ones who try to abide by going into their sex at birth bathroom.

And it's a stupid simple infrastructure fix. Make unisex / stall only - single person bathrooms the standard. Make locker rooms have all solo changing rooms. There - boom, heavy construction jobs created and quickly the biggest concern is magically gone.

But no we just want to be mad and vote for the guy that tells us to be mad instead of solving the problem the easy way.

I don't need higher taxes. I specifically said poor. You seem to have the wrong understanding of who is poor. I'm talking about anyone whose wealth is apart of the bottom 5% of wealth in the country. Which is over 50% of the country. I'm talking folks who make less than 250k a year. That's poor in today's society. I definitely pay more than sales tax.

No, nobody on the left cares about this issue or ever even thinks about it.

It's not an exaggeration to say that 99% of this discourse from politicians or social media heroes is right-wings stirring up ѕhit to their gullible fanbases. The WNBA, despite being full of super-left wing players and owners, has never had a trans player and never will. The Olympics had 1 one time (a weightlifter who came in last) and will likely never have another. The NCAA has let a very, very few, but largely banned it in 2022 under Biden and fully in 2025 under Trump, with neither president's executive orders getting much attention because the outrage machine ignored them to keep fearmongering.

Copmala Harris did not want to defund the police. Trust me on that she is more to the right than half of this board lol.

And defund the police is a stupid name for the policy. Reallocate police funds is a much better name for what it is. Give me more detectives trained to work criminal cases than traffic cops pulling people over for speeding. Give me more IRS auditors to ensure the rich pay their taxes. Give me more mental health professionals to help deal with a person on a psychotic break and a danger really only to themselves than a cop who comes in, shoots the dog, shoots the person, and declares a job well done. Train folks for the job they want.

Again if women's sports is your leading issue and you trust the guy that goes into beauty pageant locker rooms to fix that - I got some ocean front property in wisconsin to sell you.

Who gives a single **** about israel or hamas. We need to isolate and stop supporting either side and let them figure themselves out instead of being the world police in the middle east. I think 90% of normal americans agree with that and the crazy 5% of dems get too loud about hamas and the crazy 5% of republicans get too loud about israel.

Question:

You don’t care if mentally ill men invade not only women’s sports but their private spaces?

Also, many leftists care about this subject. All one has to do is watch the news to see protests and talking heads and coaches speaking out.

Saying he wasn't here to do the thing he was doing was funny to me, so I commented on it.

I don't care if he points out bad policy, and I think the lack of clarity is bad policy.

I think it would be good for the WNBA to clarify in the bylaws or watever, if they allow biological males to play or not.
Clarify and move on.

I'm not Baptist or Evangelical, so I don't share your belief that trans women are "mentally ill men."

As I've said many times, I support LGBT equality like most Americans, but also like most Americans, I think there are a few edge cases like sports where you have to carve out an exception for the integrity of the game. I literally don't know a single person in real life who would push back on that.

How mentally ill do you need to be to consider yourself a female when you have a cock and balls? Want to dress like a woman, sure go ahead, but you're still a man.

Gender Dysphoria is a mental illness. For political reasons, we've stopped referring to a disease as a disease. There is no such thing as a trans-man or trans-woman. Biology is still a real thing. Girls sports very existence is dependent on that reality.

The more this ridiculous ideology is mocked, the better. No one cosplaying as the other gender should be taken seriously or enabled. They should be helped so that their feelings (which can and do change) line up with their biology (which will never change).

That ain’t poor even in America. But the very poorest in America would be middle class or better in most countries in Central America, The Caribbean Islands, Africa, or the Philippines just to name a few truly POOR countries.

Fact:

It’s an odd thing to preface your comment like that. It makes it seem that those are the only people that think trans people are mentally ill. Mr. Freedom is Muslim and Dave Chappelle is far from evangelical.

But keep thinking it’s not an issue because the people you know in “real life” don’t think men in women’s locker rooms is wrong. They both must be really nice men.

Nope. Give me more and more mean *** dudes with big guns to prevent crime. Detectives try to solve a crime already committed. If we had the National Guard patrolling the streets of South Jackson in 2020, my son might still be alive!

I'd enjoy seeing this guy join the wnba and play against that Coach Reeves.

This is embarrassing behavior from Travis. The WNBA has the policy that he wants them to have. The only reason he's trying to goad them into changing is so he can make money off the outrage mob that he wants to rile up.

My philosophy has always been that if I'm surprised that someone agrees with me, I just take the W and celebrate to myself.

Maybe some of us just have a problem believing that someone who believes men can somehow transform themselves to women and should be allowed to participate in girls/women's sports and use the same locker room facilities is capable of making decisions that will improve our lives .

The more this ridiculous ideology is mocked, the better.

Mocking mental illness doesn't seem like an intelligent, compassionate, or effective way to address mental illness.

I wish the amount of passion and mental energy that many spend getting worked up over the very few trans people in this country was instead spent on things that would improve the lives of all. Things like...
- Reducing Healthcare costs for all.
- Demanding companies reduce their water and air polluting.
Etc etc etc.

I know, I know, it's easier and more satisfying to just get worked up over a social outrage issue.

So why have Democrats in Washington vote almost unanimously against any measure to protect women's sports if they don't care .

What dudes are taking scholarships from girls? Where is this happening?
I genuinely don't know of anything like this happening.
Over the prior few years, there have been like a handful of examples...and not even all were verified.

Everything I have seen has shown that is not a current issue...yet you post as if this is a current issue.

And your claimed reason for why biological males have tried to play sports as a trans woman is fear mongering and unsubstantiated.
