The alumni association post is nice, but this comment below it:

”The Penn State alumni network has produced some remarkable leaders, and Ken Frazier stands among the very best.
Throughout his career, Mr. Frazier demonstrated the kind of leadership that goes beyond business results, leading with integrity, courage, and a commitment to doing what he believed was right, even during challenging times. He exemplifies how Penn State graduates can make a positive impact on both business and society.”

So they are still using a "survey" that is eight years old and flawed to begin with. The CEOs pictured are no longer with the companies cited (and, no, they have not gone on to greener pastures, except maybe to fertilize them).

It’s almost seems like Kenny the Turd wrote it himself? 🤔

A "survey" based on some guy in his Mom's basement scrolling through random LinkedIn profiles.
Gotta' love PSU Strategic Communications

But that "fact" will be repeated as a truth ad nauseum for the next decade.

Ranks up there with this doozy from a few years back:

A PENN STATER HAS APPEARED IN EVERY SUPER BOWL (In 50 point bold type)

Underneath, in type you need an electron microscope to see - "Except for five"

If it were just nonsense like this they were disingenuous about, you could simply laugh it off.
But, when they are even more disingenuous about the serious stuff - that is the rub. And that is the overwhelming and pervasive institutional culture, obviously.
Imagine this same level of deceit - but concerning things like billion-dollar budgets, expenditures of hundreds of millions of dollars, and the performance of the University's critical missions.
Now imagine that level of deceit being perpetrated on the folks (the Penn State Board) who have a duty to govern the University (even if precious few of them take it even the least bit seriously)
Then it is not time to laugh, but rather time to cry.
