Trump has only averaged 34k jobs a month the last 12 months. Plus the labor participation rate is the lowest it's been in 5 years.
Trump's economy is just as broken as his war with Iran.

Both May and June were revised down, too. We have 100k+ less jobs than we thought over the last 3 months. The report is actually way worse than just the July numbers. Trump has a massive problem on his hands.View attachment 1386402
100% of job growth has been private sector and for american citizens. Shrinking the federal workforce to its lowest level in decades was a massive Trump W. Biden and dems wasted tax payer money to create unnecessary government jobs to fudge the data. Trump is doing great, and the working class is taking home more money than ever.

Golden Age!
100% we will revisit this post in october just before the election and when the print is good you will say they are manipulated.Sometimes the economy just has cycles and you can’t necessarily blame a President, however in Trump’s case his tariffs and disastrous war with Iran are 100% responsible for tanking the economy and raising prices.
And still better than the Democrat admin.Pretty soon the only Trump defenders will be the guy who thinks that Obama is surrendering to the DOJ because he’s gonna be indicted, the guy hung up on trans persons, and 40 of Ryan’s alts.
Tariffs - self-inflicted wound
Iran war - US worst military strategy defeat
Deficit - highest burn rate in US history
Trump - least popular President ever at this point in his term
MAGA!
The market sold off long ago, on the incorrect assumption that rates would go higher. Thanks Don. At least the market is high
And still better than the Democrat admin.

"Government hiring is terrible" is actually incredibly awesome lolHealthcare is probably the strongest sector of this report And even it's numbers are below average. Government hiring is terrible. Private sector hiring is terrible. There's no silver linings in this report. Even the unemployment rate is misleading since a lot of people are simply dropping out of the labor market.
Losses were in government jobs. Manufacturing and construction jobs were up. Unemployment rate fell to 4.1%.
JFC you people.Losses were in government jobs. Manufacturing and construction jobs were up. Unemployment rate fell to 4.1%.
Biden - 9% inflation. The highest in 50 years. Tried to pass BBB when inflation was 6%+. Inflation only came down because they released oil from the SPR just before the election. Their green energy policies and social welfare programs are massively inflationary. Is the sky blue in your world?
The strait was open under Biden.
There was no risk of paying fees to Iran.
We had open inspections of Iran nuclear.
We weren’t running a 2 trillion deficit.
Biden turned over economy that The Economist called “the envy of the world.”
GDP was higher under Biden.
Job growth was higher under Biden.
No tariff wars.
No government investment in free market.
That's a feature, not a bug"Government hiring is terrible" is actually incredibly awesome lol

You claimed that Trump was tanking the economy long before the war. The fact is the economy is reasonably strong. Total payroll employment is at an all-time high and the unemployment rate is only 4.1%. I think that's a very good result considering that $3.5 trillion of Biden's above and beyond spending has largely expired.Sometimes the economy just has cycles and you can’t necessarily blame a President, however in Trump’s case his tariffs and disastrous war with Iran are 100% responsible for tanking the economy and raising prices.
Trump's massive problem is the man in the mirror. Unfortunately for the country, one of Trump's obsessions is Fed interest rates, and Trump actually believes that higher unemployment helps him. Both May and June were revised down, too. We have 100k+ less jobs than we thought over the last 3 months. The report is actually way worse than just the July numbers. Trump has a massive problem on his hands.
Open inspections of Iran nuclear? Where did you come across that fantasy? Is the sky blue in your world?

Iran was considered a threat, even by Democrat Administrations. I agree the war is unpopular, but a threat has been removed for the foreseeable future.
Neither side has acceptable polciies on the deficit in my book. (I'll give Clinton credit here)
The Biden economy was far from the envy of the world. That is laughable. It was full of fraud, fat, and inflation. 9%. Additionally, the economy and inflation was the #1 issue in the election and Democrats lost in a landslide. They lost the electoral college, the popular vote, and all 7 swing states. Saying the Biden economy was the envy of the world after losing on that very issue seems a bit tone deaf.
The tariffs, while possibly inflationary, inflation is still much lower than under the Biden regime.
I can understand Government not investing in free market (like Trump Intel). But at the same time, i think social security funds should be invested in the free market.
Reasonably strong? You claimed that Trump was tanking the economy long before the war. The fact is the economy is reasonably strong. Total payroll employment is at an all-time high and the unemployment rate is only 4.1%. There are certainly some bad things with the economy. Affordability is still a problem and some people are losing jobs because of AI. But saying that's all due to Trump is ridiculous. Most of the affordability problems took hold when Biden was president.
I don't think tariffs have had much of an impact on our economy. I'm sure that some portion of the tariffs got passed along to consumers but the biggest concerns are healthcare, housing, and groceries. Those areas are only minimally impacted by tariffs because they're produced domestically.
The one area where we would agree is the war. IMO it was a dumb idea from a political standpoint for Trump to do this so close to the election. That said I wouldn't approve of the war even after the election. It's clear that Trump didn't have a good exit strategy just like it's clear that we didn't have an exit strategy for the $200 billion we've spent in Ukraine. To be clear I absolutely consider Iran a threat. I just don't think we can afford to be the world's police.
Massive Trump W (there are still 50k more jobs to cut at least though)
