Doubtful, Hassan brags about his porn addiction and paying prostitutes in foreign countries/red light districts to sleep with him too lol
Man, I thought I had the perfect 2028 candidate picked out for ya.
Doubtful, Hassan brags about his porn addiction and paying prostitutes in foreign countries/red light districts to sleep with him too lol
And yet we have "Christians" doing that for the last 10 plus years and Drumpf put some on the Supreme Court.Trying to legislate according to your religion as a basis would definitely be bad. Agreed. (now I do think people can govern according to their own religious inherent values, hopefully like integrity, loving others, etc)
Yeah completely out of freaking context. Half the time democrats are having to play defense -like right now with this communist garbage- because Republicans lie about what they are actually going to do. You know this.
I linked their actual website too. I don’t agree with everything but I agree far more than the Republican policy of hoarding wealth for the few. I remind you again, Trump is basically extorting American companies. I choose more for all than all for just a few.
JFC, Tom. Seriously?Oh…free sh.it??? You mean like what billionaires get? I would rather our tax dollars go to free college and educate our populace than to bombing kids in schools and propping up foreign countries. We can’t have “free” stuff because our money goes towards Israel and Argentina’s free stuff.
There’s less than 100,000 members but there’s 80 million MAGAs. What’s the bigger problem?El-Sayed definitely supports some policies that are also part of the DSA platform, like Medicare for All and abolishing ICE. But that doesn't mean he's running on the DSA platform. He's not a DSA member, and I haven't seen anything showing that he supports some of the much more sweeping parts of their platform, like abolishing the Senate and Electoral College, replacing the two-party system with a multiparty system, or putting major corporations under public ownership.
There are Democratic candidates who are DSA members or have been endorsed by the DSA, and many of them support a good portion of its agenda. But I haven't found a current Democratic House or Senate nominee who has said they support the entire DSA national platform. Even among DSA-backed candidates, there are differences over individual positions.
Rightwing media is bloody brilliant at making things that help the many look evil. So good at getting people to vote against their own interests.I did not intend to conflate him with DSA…I think he is a regular progressive. I wasn’t trying to imply otherwise.
I think people like him will need to be decide how much they associate with the DSA, because the stink of the DSA platform will be hard to rub off once right wing media gets rolling.
It is not a binary choice. I will vote for dems that disavow the craziness of the DSA, I will not vote for any dem that endorses the DSA platform.I linked their actual website too. I don’t agree with everything but I agree far more than the Republican policy of hoarding wealth for the few. I remind you again, Trump is basically extorting American companies. I choose more for all than all for just a few.
If you guys didn't lie all the time maybe you wouldn't have to be running perpetual defense. Food for thought.
It is not a binary choice. I will vote for dems that disavow the craziness of the DSA, I will not vote for any dem that endorses the DSA platform.
I won’t vote for any GOP that supports Trump either.
True. I lean right but currently, don't have a party. Anyone who disagrees with dear fuhrer is a radical leftist extremist.Too try to understand what the dem party is doing is futile. The dem party is more of a gathering of individualistic ideals rather than like minded coherence.
Anyone who disagrees with dear fuhrer is a radical leftist extremist.
Dude, you, @hawkeyetraveler, and I are triplets!True. I lean right but currently, don't have a party. Anyone who disagrees with dear fuhrer is a radical leftist extremist.
Currently, I'll choose to be an independent that won't vote for a Republican until one can show that they truly are a fiscal conservative that believes in the constitution and puts country first.
I linked also. I didn’t see your bullet points in the DSA story you linked. They are not bullsh*t. I literally linked the page from their actual website. And there are other pages where they reiterate these points too. You are more than capable of finding these points from DSA sites and DSA leaders.
If you are unwilling to understand their actual platform what makes you different from the MAGA types that put their head in the sand when Trump goes off his rocker?
Yes and we both know which party REFUSES to add funding to the coffers to address the debt. They don’t give a damn. We are not in a both sides time period in our history.JFC, Tom. Seriously?
We are a whisker away from 40 trillion in debt.
Four-tee…fuh-king…trill-yun.
If I were defending Republicans on spending, then you would have a point. Also, no, not every criticism I raised against Team Blue is bullsh*t. We have receipts, bruh.
How ‘bout we focus on what unites us and keeps us friends? F#ck Trump.
Carpet bomb them and take their oil. Too easy.I hope you're joking here. You're seriously condemning an entire population of millions based on the actions of a few??? You sure that's where you want to go?
Not one of the 19 were US citizens. Most were Saudis. Guess we better nuke Saudi Arabia.
Ding, Ding, effing Ding. Are Muslims "liberal", though? They seem pretty overtly hyper-conservative to me. Same-sex sexual relationships are sinful. Sex outside marriage is sinful.
Pornography is forbidden. Alcohol is forbidden. Gambling is forbidden. Daily prayer and fasting are religious obligations. Heck, I'd better be careful otherwise the MAGAs will start voting for them in droves.![]()
Dude, you, @hawkeyetraveler, and I are triplets!
FIFY.RupertMurdoch media is bloody brilliant at making things that help the many look evil. So good at getting people to vote against their own interests.
Murica Baby
My wording was definitely intentional. And yet we have "Christians" doing that for the last 10 plus years and Drumpf put some on the Supreme Court.
You accept a little of their help and your party wears the label.El-Sayed definitely supports some policies that are also part of the DSA platform, like Medicare for All and abolishing ICE. But that doesn't mean he's running on the DSA platform. Yep. The Dems just rolled over and gave it to them. UnbelievableThe DSA is in control of the democrat party. Just the facts.
He's more moderate than you're giving him credit for, you're just distracted by his name and ethnicity/religion. He's a public health official. Obama told him to run. He isn't a DSA member. What do you mean he's not exactly opposed to the "Jews will not replace us crowd"? He has talked multiple times about the dangers of rising anti-semitism. Yeah I don't care for Piker, but the dude is basically lefty Rogan/Limbaugh. It is what it is with him. There are far worse people in American politics thank Piker, who is a meaningless streamer (modern talk show radio host).View attachment 1385126
Seriously?
Yeah, sure, he’s not really a “Democratic Socialist,” he’s just very progressive to the point Bernie and AOC couldn’t wait to endorse him.
Yeah, sure, he’s not really part of the “Jews will not replace us!” crowd, he’s just not exactly opposed to the idea, either.
And, yeah, sure, he’s not really publicly saying America deserved 9/11, or dressing up as Mao Zedong and praising Zedong as one of the world’s GOAT leaders. No, not at all. He just likes being chummy (and attending pool parties a couple days prior to the primary election) with a popular leftist social media influencer who did say those things. No biggie.
I don’t know if there is anything more Team Blue than working tirelessly to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory months or weeks ahead of an even-numbered year election.
I don’t get it.
Again…seriously?
and in turn you'll vote for a democrat who you know isn't fiscally conservative?True. I lean right but currently, don't have a party. Anyone who disagrees with dear fuhrer is a radical leftist extremist.
Currently, I'll choose to be an independent that won't vote for a Republican until one can show that they truly are a fiscal conservative that believes in the constitution and puts country first.

McMorrow was probably the "best" choice in that race but she completely blew it by 1) leaning into Islamophobia and 2) not differentiating herself between AES and Stevens
from curiosity, which side is advocating adding funding to the coffers to address the debt?Yes and we both know which party REFUSES to add funding to the coffers to address the debt. They don’t give a damn. We are not in a both sides time period in our history.
