What is amazing is when this show started they really had no laws against it in many states. They had to change laws to be able to prosecute these guys for this stuff because they were not actually talking to/ sending lewd photos and then going to meet underage kids but adults. So initially many were free but just publicly shamed. State laws quickly caught up and made that illegal and then took over doing the stings.

Also amazing, these stings still nab dozens of creeps 20 years later.
