Last time I went to Hawaii I took a good look around just as I was leaving to make sure I had everything I brought with me so that I wouldn’t have to go back and get it. I don’t ever want to go back.

Tell me everything you hated about it. I'm of the opinion that it's a long way to fly for nice beaches, but I'm not necessarily in an equity voting position in my household.

It's on my bucket list but I've heard horror stories from a lot of folks that have been there so I'm a little apprehensive. Should I stay or should I go?

I went about 10 years ago as part of a convention so my trip was paid for for the volunteer work that I did there. It was beautiful and we went a couple days early and stayed on Maui, which is a lot calmer than Oahu andHonolulu. Honolulu is nothing but Los Angeles on an island. It was really neat to go see Pearl Harbor and all the different sites and the ocean was beautiful. We were there in January so it was during whale season so we could see a lot of whales jumping up out of the water.

Would I ever go back on my own dime? probably not. I am 6’6 so me and long plane rides don’t get along very well. It was nice on the way home, I had the biggest exit row in the history of exit rows that I’ve ever seen on the plane.

My wife and I went to Maui years ago on a company trip. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton so the accommodations were more than what we would normally enjoy. We had a great time and decided we would come back. We did with our kids and we stayed in Oahu, Maui, and Kauai and used rental cars to visit the hotspots on each island. Again, we had a great time. Our last trip was to the big island and we toured the entire island. Neat history of the Parker family ranch. We enjoy scuba diving so we did a little along with fishing. I would definitely go back except there are new frontiers we have our sites set on.
