Which is why I never take this game for granted.

The Hawks have a lot of question marks, particularly at the most important position in football….QB (which is nothing new). However, one would think we have the advantage over a team that is almost entirely new.

This is a game Iowa should win. But definitely not guaranteed.

This years’ game is as close to a guarantee for Iowa as there has been in recent memory.

I agree to a point, as Ferentz teams always seem to come into their own come November. But historically speaking, Iowa State has consistently been the game that determines how good a team can be. If we lose to them, we're usually not that great, if we beat them, we usually have a pretty great year. There have been exceptions, like 2002, but it's consistent enough that I take it into account.

It'll likely be a low scoring affair, but if that means 33-3, I'll take it.

Very true kc. I think it is a combination of the clones Super Bowl and KF thinking in terms of pre-season games before the Big Ten, and just plain bad luck,

Credit to the clowns, but at the end of the year they are very seldom the better team. Their former hero and current traitor Matt Campbell was 3-6 vs. Iowa.

We have no idea how Mr. Rogers will do, but give him some time. Maybe 2029.

After Rogers's "F the Hawks" comment I suspect Kirk may want to win by a few more points than that.

I don't know if Jimmy is a good coach or not, but it was a very clown thing to do.

Maybe not Kirk, but I guarantee Phil Parker does.

I hope not but we've seen "play-it-close-Kirk" enough to be a little concerned
