First time that I am venturing over to this board from the Blue Lot. Kinda of scary. I don't exactly fit the political idealogy here, not that there is anything wrong with that. Curious to see what the members on this board think of Pirro's decision to drop federal charges against David Ahearn.

Seemed like the right call to me based on the ability to successfully prosecute a case. No reason to go to court to just lose. Also, the DOI and Park Service withheld a bunch of information from her at jump, so, I think she’s right to be pissed at them and toss their *** cleanly under the bus.

She didn't feel there was a solid case against him. Curious how you feel about folks upset Trump spent millions of dollars cleaning up the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool?

What's so "scary" to you? If you spend some time reading the majority of posters on here we're primarily Patriotic Americans who are concerned our Country is being destroyed by folks who hate us and our God given Freedoms.

What's "scary" about that?🤔

The guy is probably guilty but if other people screwed her case up it's not worth wasting time, money, and resources to deal with it. The President isn't going to be happy about that but it makes sense. I don't doubt she's pissed about it too. Regardless if people like Trump or not idiots vandalizing Monuments in in our Nations Capitol is pathetic behavior. Plenty of pictures of that happening previously in other threads.

Nothing says fighting "fascism" like vandalism on monuments honoring the Generation that actually did that.

Folks will get upset about having to pay taxes on winning the lottery. The work needs to be done. I'm all for it.
No one minds paying taxes, we understand that's part of the price we all must pay for Freedom. What upsets most of us on this forum is the confiscatory amounts we're forced to pay, and worse... how much of our hard earned income is either wasted or squandered on needless or worthless Leftist programs.

It's great to have an open forum like this. And to be clear, I am a registered Republican, moderate. It's the comments like "Regardless if people like Trump or not idiots vandalizing Monuments in in our Nations Capitol is pathetic behavior" without including pictures from Jan.6 in the photo montage. Or "The guy is probably guilty" when the DOJ stated there is no evidence of him doing any vandalism that would justify a federal charge . Or "needless or worthless Leftist programs ", when there are certainly frivolous right wing programs we are funding. Again, it's a wonderful freedom to be able to post one's opinion. I should just stick to the Blue Lot and sports discussions. I'm too old to want to engage in online banter. Whatever clicks on the clock I have left, enjoying life as stress free as I can is my goal.
Take care, and Let's Goooooooooooooo...............................

Jan 6 was a protest that had paid agitators turn violent. They weren't painting support for Hamas on the WW2 memorial. You can stop pretending you are a Republican too. The DOJ also didn't say there's no evidence. She said another agency screwed up the case making it not worth wasting resources to go after in DC.

"needless or worthless Leftist programs " is NOT someone's "opinion"! 🤨

11 Bizarre Things the U.S. Government Actually Spent Money On

excerpt:
The Pentagon was criticized in June 2017 for spending $28 million on licensing fees for the lush green pattern on Afghan National Army uniforms. The problem: Afghanistan is 98 percent desert, so the bright color would stand out—not what you’re looking for in camo.
...another example:
When the NIH figured anti-smoking ads weren’t resonating with young adults, they decided to go straight to the source. That’s right: hipsters. Or as the Commune project called them, “a group focused on the alternative music scene, local artists and designers, and eclectic self-expression.” The campaign spent $5 million in federal cash on Commune-branded beer koozies and other swag, smoke-free events featuring indie bands, artist-designed flyers, and more. Another initiative involved paying hipster smokers $100 to kick the habit and blog about quitting.

Oh...there's more...LOTS more! 😠
Government Waste: Shocking Examples of Taxpayer Dollars Mismanagement

Hi lights:
Effective management of taxpayer money is vital for the progress of any nation. Citizens expect their hard-earned money to be used judiciously for the common good. Unfortunately, multiple instances of government waste and mismanagement reveal that this is not always the case. These examples not only highlight inefficiencies but also question the priorities of government spending.
*$15 million spent by the Biden Administration on distributing condoms and contraceptives in Afghanistan
*$50 million has been earmarked to provide condoms in Gaza and fund sex reassignment surgeries in Colombia.
*$10,000 grant for an ice skating drag show aimed at promoting climate change awareness.

...and sooooooo much more spending lunacy just like I've briefly highlighted here. I 100% guarantee you not one of these needless, useless expenditures is coming from Republicans...it's ALL from misguided, ill conceived, idiotic Leftist wish lists! ALL OF IT!!!!!!

So it's one thing to log on here and pretend indifference, incredulity, or even feign objective "moderation". Quite another to ignore the real taxpayer money being wasted or dismiss we Patriots who are demanding an end to all this spending lunacy! (and I didn't even touch all the billions of fraud and abuse in Medicare and/or USAID Foreign funding of Left wing NGO's recently uncovered. :cautious:

Yes please, go back to Blue Lot...ignorance is bliss. 🙄
