No ****! Everytime I log on @UKCowboys is into it with somebody. He’s a pretty good poster otherwise but damn bro, you don’t have to be a gatekeeper for Kentucky Basketball commentary . The people you’re fighting with are UK fans as well. Not everybody is gonna agree on everythjng

Just said if hes saying pope has never coached an elite talent then hall can’t be considered elite either. Numbers alone doesn’t make a player elite. Also saying pope can’t coach him because he’s talented is the funniest thing I’ve heard today.

"Pretty good poster otherwise"...do since that came out of your own mouth, why don't you dig back through the posts where I am "into it with somebody" and tells me who generally starts the hostilities? The fact is, unless you are someone that comes on here 24/7/365 bashing the Hell out of Pope and calling for his head, you are going to get ripped. It's OK to have opinions, unless any of them involve giving Pope a fair shake

Crazy talk about a guy that had the lowest BPM that played limited minutes on a mediocre team.

Once we got into conference play, every time Johnson came into the game the other team went on a run. That wasn’t a coincidence or a product of the lineups he was playing with.

He’s probably more talented than some of the dudes that got drafted. But he’s nowhere near a better basketball player than anyone that was drafted.

As a freshman he may have been even worse than Devin Askew. Hard to know for sure as he was so bad when he did play Pope couldn’t afford to give him anymore minutes for fear of throwing the game in the first half.

He didn’t snipe you. He just said what you are. It’s accurate. You go at, personally a lot of the time, to those that don’t think Pope is capable. It’s okay for each side to have differing viewpoints. I’ll argue, with evidence, all day long why I think he’s never going to succeed at a level needed at UK. You will argue in opposition. That’s fine. But man, when people bring up valid points that you disagree with you tend to resort to name calling and snide remarks. You’re engaging and I dig that. The snide remarks and name calling don’t bother me, but it’s kinda odd.

Does the fact I think he can’t or won’t be successful make me a hater? I don’t know him. I just think he’s not cut out for the job. For whatever reason that viewpoint seems to really ruffle your feathers. Two seasons in, I feel like it’s not exactly a crazy viewpoint.

It's a fair viewpoint....BUT.....So is thinking we had injuries the first two years and are primed for a big year three..
