To those of controlling interest.
The constant need to move new threads to existing threads is irritating to someone like me . I personally look for threads that have a header that interest me and might have some refreshing conversation.
The movement of new threads into existing threads requires constant reading of all threads to see current news .
It's like the an office manager that organizes files into his personal system.
I certainly liked the old forum better for the above reason.
Just my thoughts.

I concur. To those who decide such matters...tell us why we can't have the old approach.

An easy way to avoid the clutter is to simply stop taking the bait.

What I don't like is the new organization of Forum creates confusion. For instance,I did hear a little scuttlebutt about the Desmond situation. I now have to figure out where to post it. I truly never start many threads but when I would hear something unique and not discussed I would start a thread.
Not sure if it should go under projected lineup thread or Ono thread. It shouldn't be that difficult. Previous years I would have started a thread. I've posted a couple of things under a thread for which I thought was appropriate only to have it moved . I feel like I'm in school taking a test.

So what if it's moved? It's not really a big deal, is it? A couple of mine have been moved and I didn't think anything of it, and I'm the master of organization and OCD. (even though I'm scratching my head why the Duke blown call conversation is continuing in the Social Media thread for 20+ posts when it was already being discussed in the Biggest Bruise thread).

I say start a new thread on your Desmond scuttlebutt, or put it where you think it might be best (Lineup or Ono). And if a mod thinks it'll be better off elsewhere, then so be it. But at least you said what you wanted to. And we'll appreciate your contribution.

I just think that some current news gets overlooked. I probably feel that way because I was comfortable looking for new threads to read. If I see an old thread title I typically don't click on it. That is my personal habit and would assume some others do the same.
On occasion I will click on an old thread and be surprised by some of the more recent content but it might be a week old.
I'm pretty stubborn regarding change. 😒
