This is almost tailor made. WNBA coaches and players are blathering on about inclusion and how all people, even trans, deserve to play. This dude could be playing in the WNBA by the weekend if they actually believed a word of what they say.

If anything, this will show what hypocrites they are.

Another made up issue by 18 to attack the WNBA. He didn't tell you guys that this player is 34 years old. She is not coming over here. The problem with Conservatives is that they don't understand when they have won an issue. Athletic competition by transgenders in women sports is banned in 29 states. It's banned by the NCAA and in Olympic sports. The issue is effectively dead, but some people feel the need to beat a dead horse to demonize people who aren't even thinking about them. To make it even funnier. All this blabber is going on to so-called protect girls who you don't even care to watch.

Boy, this is misinformation at its finest, lol.

Why in the world does the age matter?

If the issue is dead, then why is the WNBA pushing it so hard? The 29 states have banned men from playing girls sports at the school level. Does not impact WNBA. Rulings by the NCAA and Olympics do not impact the WNBA.

Yet, again, liberals run the same play over and over and over again. They bring an issue up, then when conservatives respond, liberals react as though we're the ones who initiated it.

Facts are facts. Personnel in the WNBA have been advocating for men to play women's sports. They now have the ability to actually make that happen. They won't b/c they don't actually believe what they're saying.

Pushing it? Your girl Sophie brought up this bomb. Nobody was saying anything about Transgenders. It's almost like Sophie is turning into a MAGA plant to sow chaos. Also, there has been only one person affiliated with the WNBA that has even commented on this issue, Cheryl Reeve, and she didn't come out in support of a transgender player playing in the WNBA. She said transgenders deserve to be included in sport. Now, what sport that is and how are they supported nobody has figured that out yet. I think the answer is you play based on the gender you were born as. However, there is even gray area there with people born with both reproductive organs. With all that said, nobody is pushing it. I think people are reluctant to answer questions on it because they don't want to offend anyone.

I think this is the main point for a lot of people. If you talk the talk, walk the walk. But everyone knows its posturing.

I'm reminded of that one woman who played on the wusnt (soccer). Blue haired woman. She wants men to play women's soccer now, but conveniently, its only after shes retired, and wont have to do it herself.

When a group ostensibly made up of women athletes says men playing women's sports is fine, it is justifiable and necessary for someone to call them out and, since the left will never do it, conservatives have to do it. The horse is far from dead, the left refuses to let it die.

A 34 year old man (let's be honest, this is a man) would still dominate the WNBA. A team of 40 year old men pretending to be women would destroy every WNBA team.

Nobody is talking about Transgenders? Did you really just type that?

First, if no one was pushing for it, then no one would have a single problem with what Sophie said. But that didn't happen.

I think not realizing trans in sports is a nationwide issue kind of makes me feel stronger that you are having severe issues. I dont see how anyone could have missed it these past years. Have you contacted a Dr yet? Or at least started talking to family members about it?

Im serious. Catching something like this early can make a large difference.

lol, this guy must live under a rock with the tree guy.

This is another page from the liberal playbook. They bring up an issue. When conservatives address it, they respond with "Why are you even making this an issue?!?"

Even St. Dawn Staley said men should be allowed to play women's sports. Why a woman who is paid a ridiculous amount of money to coach women's basketball would be fine with men playing women's basketball escapes me. I'm sure that if LSU or UConn signed a couple of men pretending to be women to play on their women's basketball teams and totally crushed SC in the tournament, Dawn might have a problem with it.

As to the gray area you cite. The number of people born with truly both reproductive organs is infinitesimally small and should be brought up in any serious debate. It is like bringing up some special dispensation that should be given to people born with a tail.

Normally, I would agree outright. People in the wnba publicly commented on this, but magically that never happened? Seems like a cut and dry example of the usual lib playbook.

In this case, I suspect there is more personal reasons that an entire nationwide movement is not remembered.

Aren't you the same guys that say don't focus on what Donald Trump says, focus on what he does? Same thought process here. The WNBA has given lip service to supporting transgenders, but nothing has been put in motion to ever include them in the league over 30 years. That is sort of telling you where they stand. However, that is not enough for you guys. They have to come out and say it to please a group that could care less about them. I wouldn't do it either. I may not get in the way a policy that you want to put in place, but you are not going to make me say what you want me to say.

They are already allowed according to the wnba. No need to include them again.

But in all seriousness, get help Coop. Memory issues are just the first step.

Well, one of the WNBA coaches decided she felt strongly enough about it to assault some young girls over their stance on the issue. The WNBA took no action against the coach. Imagine what would happen if an NFL coach publicly confronted and denounced a couple gay rights activists on the sideline who were holding pro gay signs. The NFL coach would likely be fired immediately.

The WNBA can't have it both ways. Sophie was asked about men playing women's sports and she answered. Suddenly, the WNBA was appalled by her answer and coaches and players rushed to denounce her and claim "solidarity" with trannys, When pushed back by the public, they suddenly don't want to talk about it and claim it is a non issue.

Major issue? Numbers please. You love to put statements out there with no proof to back it up. I am not talking about in-depth research. Just some to show that you have put a little thought into it and not just spouting off talking points.

It wasn't a coach. It was a co-owner of the Seattle Storm. ...and she did not assault the kids. She confronted them about the signs. Come on man. Some of you guys just live on talking points. Being accurate does not seem important.

Wrong. There is no policy on it. In all seriousness Lurker, educate yourself and free yourself from living entirely in Conservative Talking Point land. If they have been accepted, name the player? You can't, but it doesn't matter to you because facts are just an inconvenience. I'm done. I have to get some work done. I have exceeded my time with MAGAs on the internet. Pisces and Skuddy. It's been real. I can at least take you guys seriously.

Numbers? Do you mean numbers of Trans athletes?

But if you intended to reply to my post (and I know that mistaking posts is an issue with you) you should realize i said it was a nationwide issue.

Please tell me you dont think its a nationwide issue. I need a good laugh.

The WNBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) contains a single eligibility clause: “Only players who are women are eligible to play in the WNBA.”
The CBA does not define “woman” and does not mention transgender identity, leaving interpretation to league offices.

So, exactly what I said. They are already allowed, because "they ARE women", right?

I'd tell you to educate yourself, but we both know thats not the issue with your mental state right now, dont we?

I didn't mean the legal/criminal definition of "assault". I meant she aggressively got in the face of some young girls over their posters thanking Sophie and their XX/XY shirts. I guess a co-owner is really worse than a coach. A co-owner seems to represent more of the mindset of the WNBA than a coach.

I guess anything that happens cannot be discussed without becoming a "talking point". Would you be happier if people discussed nothing but hypotheticals?

So sticking up for fairness in sports for middle school, high school girls and collegiate women makes a person think Sophie could be a "MAGA plant" when, as far as I know, she has said nothing about politics? Laughable, also sad. I believe Danny said that as well - typical of the left to parrot whatever the left talking heads tell them to all say(notice all of their "protest" signs all say the same thing basically no matter what the issue is. But MAGA is the "cult." Look at all of the DSA radicals who want to destroy our country as we know it and their lemmings are going to follow them over the cliff. Remember all of the "Women for Graham," "Veterans for Graham," (Platner, not Lindsay), and my personal favorite "A Senator Who Can`t Be Bought" at his rallies? If you missed those I`m sure you can look it up. Elizabeth Warren said he was "my kind of man!" until he was behind in the polls. Now you have a full-blown Socialist/Communist as the Democratic Senate nominee in Michigan. Sorry if I wandered from the topic.

Is adcoop the one that will jump into a thread to argue it and then when his arguments are refuted with sound logic and evidence then takes the time to type out a message saying 'I don't have time for this. I make more money then you'll ever see gambling on the stock market and I have work to do.', and then posts again 5 minutes later? Or is that a different one?

I think the owner used the F Bomb in attacking the young girls.
As an aside I don’t get how using this term has now become OK in the general public. As one with sub teen grandchildren it pains me to hear people using this term in everyday conversation or in public settings where that was not done just a few years ago.
Makes waiting till children understand the birds and bees to have that conversation difficult. Then again I’m a 69 year old Christian who doesn’t understand how our standards have fallen so fast.

Adcoop does that all the time. Its clockwork, when he is offered proof that he is wrong, he suddenly "doesn't have time".

Mentioning the stock market may be gamecock stock. He also posts on some financial forums, and I've seen him take off saying hes going over there. But I dont usually see him running from evidence. Jmo
