Yes, your ONE unique experience in the state of Iowa speaks for all. LOL

If it's not an issue, why are so many organizations nipping things in a bud by banning trans girls and females from girls and women's sports?

And are you ok with these 3 examples? Yes or no?

(1) In MN, a trans girl (pitching) led the softball team to a state title.
--> The player is Marissa Rothenberger, a junior pitcher for the Champlin Park High School softball team. She helped lead the Rebels to a 6–0 shutout win against Bloomington Jefferson to claim the Class AAAA Minnesota state high school girls' softball championship in June 2005

(2) In CA, a trans girl won numerous state track events.
--> The trans girl is AB Hernandez, a track and field athlete from Jurupa Valley High School in Southern California. She won multiple state titles in the girls' high jump and triple jump at the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) state championships.

(3) In PA, Lia Thomas has won numerous swimming events.
--> Former University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas won several individual races during her collegiate career. Most notably, she became the first known transgender athlete to win an NCAA Division I national championship when she won the 500-yard freestyle at the 2022 NCAA Championships.
So like a half dozen throughout the country over half a century. I’m not surprised you fell for it. I bet I couldn’t find a single girl’s basketball coach in Iowa who had a gameplan that included how to stop the 6’10 boy. You guys got conned.

C'mon Zero. The men transitioning to women THAT ARE COMPETING IN SPORTS are creating an unfair advantage. Fact.
Not arguing that. What I’m arguing is that you actually think as hard as life is for a transgender person you think they plotted it to compete in women’s sports. For all the money and glory in doing it.

So let me get this straight. You really think a person wants to change from a man to a woman so he can dominate a sport? You do understand how hard it is for a trans person to go through life in general? To be looked at as a freak by so many of you? But sure, they said I’m going to transform my entire body and life so I can go finish in 4th place in NCAA swimming. Fuvking incredible.
Easy solution. The leagues have to specifically define who can participate and who cannot. In the case of the WNBA, they do not currently allow transgender athletes participating. If what the players and coaches are advocating for is finally adopted, then radical changes will have to be made. For example, if the WNBA includes transgender athletes, then they should begin by changing the name of the league to something like W/TNBA, and strictly abide by the rules set forth by the league. How will that be received by the ticket holders and the public at large, remains to be seen. Not going to get into M to F athletes dominating women in sport because that has already been proven to happen. In today's society, you have folks who have a Naturalistic and Secular view of the world, leading to bizarre behavior, lifestyle, and departure from societal norms. That argument can be stalemated in philosophical debate forever. For adults who can't identify with their natural biological identity, there are a couple of options. Counseling is available in order to correct that thinking, and to promote acceptance of their true biological identity; or, upon rejection of counseling, to actually transitioning. The problem that I have is with a parent(s) who force transitioning on the child at an extremely young age. That is more than bizarre, it's criminal. To potentially destroy that child, who does not have the maturity and understanding of the long term consequences of this move is unforgivable. You hear stories of de-transitioning, and the horror of that experience. The trans people deserve respect, understanding, and acceptance in society. Whether or not they can be included in established sports leagues, is another matter. Could they form their own transgender leagues? Sure. Would they receive financial backing or enough fan interest to launch and sustain? Probably not, but this is where we are in society.

It should be noted here that this post was not addressed to me, but to another poster. I responded primarily to address the statement about how trans folks are looked at and treated by some in society. The other views are that of my own.

Martina agreed with these statements & retweeted this tweet to her followers.

But what does she know?

Well, Brian, it’s controversial because a group of men who know how to rile up a bunch of simpletons made a mountain out of a molehill. Here we are discussing something that affects next to nobody instead of discussing rising costs of healthcare that affect almost ALL OF US!!! We’re an idiot populace.

Man I thought spamming the board with Christine Brennan tweets was annoying. At least they were somewhat related to CC.

But these constant posts about what a washed up tennis player thinks are twice as bad.
Actually, if you know anything about Martina Navratilova, they're not. She's not washed up, she's a legend and HOA and this is from an Evert and Graff fan.

whynot?

Martina Navratilova is a Democrat, despises Republicans, and clearly is not male.

And you want to talk about a populace full of idiots? You might want to look in the mirror.
