Looks like I finally missed something entertaining on Pat’s show.Aaron Rodgers tried to unload a whole clip on Fauci. Caught it while at lunch and it shocked me they didn't pull the plug on him.

Yeah, but unless you're a complete 17ing dumbass Windows Defender is all you need.Is Mcafee on espn now?
He’s pardoned for what he already did. He was going to be asked about what he did. He wasn’t willing to be honest and his past pardon wouldn’t cover lying to Congress at the current time.If you have a pardon, why not answer the questions?
What crime was he pardoned for, specifically? He’s pardoned for what he already did. He was going to be asked about what he did. He wasn’t willing to be honest and his past pardon wouldn’t cover lying to Congress at the current time.
Going after past pardons would end poorly. What crime was he pardoned for, specifically?
Answer: nobody knows because preemptive pardons are horseshit. They don't list crimes. The person receiving them admits no guilt and the pardoner and pardoned don't have to live with the political fallout. It's one of the most unAmerican ideas I can think of.
This would be an excellent time to have them reviewed by the courts and tossed out. But that's not going to happen because Don will rip anyone's head off who that barks up that tree - he wants those for his back pocket.
Disagree. Preemptive pardons must be challenged. If the procedure to make that happens involved reneging on one issued, so be it. Hell, I don't even see how someone can argue they technically exist. A pardon, at minimum, should specify the exact law broken. Otherwise we're just giving POTUS (any of them) power to make people legally invincible and we have no idea what it is what the pardoned objectively did or didn't do. If we want POTUS to have that authority, so be it, but we should at least know what specific law was broken (or feared to have been broken) so both POTUS and the pardoned live with the political impacts of that.Going after past pardons would end poorly.
yes, it pisses me off that a president can issue blank pardons for unspecified crimes. That’s a bunch of crap, but going back after old pardons ends terribly. Tony will probably end up getting whacked by a nutcase and no one will care, we’ll all move on. And you can throw Don’s name out there, but he didn’t issue that pardon. Sounds like you’re trying to move up paco’s list.
As a matter of fact, no, I don't watch Pat McAfee on any channel.
You got a list of us "not a Pat fan" members going? No? Then put me at #1
Preemptive pardons are BS, but no president is going to let his DOJ challenge one, because the President doesn't want to limit his own power.Disagree. Preemptive pardons must be challenged. I didn't say Don issued those pardons. Biden did. And it was trash. Same for the one issued to his son. But if you don't think Don wants every possible pardon tool available to him, you haven't paid attention to how Don operates.
I completely agree. The irony of the war on drugs is that, during that same period, Reagan was using the cartels to funnel weapons into Central America. That relationship played a major role in strengthening those organizations and helping bring the modern cartels to power.Trump pardoned a bunch of weed cases. One being a granmaw. The war on drugs law was stupid. Yes, I know a Rep got it passed.
