Saw it yesterday with of 2 of my 3 kids. The movie is great if you are a Marvel Universe fan and it brought back great memories of pre Covid era and movies with my kids in that special 2008-2019 run of Marvel movies that ended with Endgame and months later Covid hit.

The theater was packed with even lines coming in as we left 10PM. It was nice to see and it looks like it is going to have the second biggest opening ever both domestically and internationally. Going to the movies and the movies themselves are such a part of our culture.

The daughter and I went and saw Toy Story 5 today (it was very well done btw) and I couldn’t believe how packed the theatre was. Mostly for spider man but ours was pretty much sold out as well. It was great to see the theatre packed. Probably helps that it is 102 here today. I’ve heard good things about this Spider-Man and I was also impressed with a lot of the previews we saw today. Some good stuff coming out.

Not to thread jack but if you have kids take them to see Toy Story. We really enjoyed it.

You libtards sure love those trannies. Performing at schools, family parades, Biden’s White House events, Torbee’s birthday parties, etc.

It appears to be something you're fixated on. I don't think about them at all, until an incredibly insecure, closeted MAGAt brings them up here or on social media.

I'm not an advocate for transgenders, besides providing them with basic human rights and human dignity - I think we should not be giving hormone blockers or performing any kind of gender-affirming/changing surgeries on minors ... I don't think they should be participating in sports outside of their biological sex ... I don't think we should be required to refer to them by specific pronouns, outside of the traditional options.

It's just that it's also not a big deal to me, and I don't spend my time obsessing over it, like you, and some of your fellow hyper-insecure MAGAts, do. You can't even do basic things, like watch a movie, or talk about movies, without thinking, first and foremost, about trannies.

What we really need to provide them with is the mental health care they desperately need…..right?!

Took 3 posts before a Trans post.

My feelings are the same as Moogy's but I spend so little of my day thinking about trans people and worrying that they exist.

I wanted to hear about Spiderman as I love these movies.

That's all the MAGAs on this board thinnk about 24/7/365. It's an obsession like none I've ever seen.

My son and I have tickets for Tuesday night. ...just rewatched No Way Home last night in preparation. ;)

Tom Holland, Zendaya, and John Bernthal get to be in the two biggest movies of the year. Cha-ching.

(and Tom Holland gets to be in Zendaya)

Already saw The Odyssey. Epic in every sense of the word (wear hearing protection). Seeing Spiderman today.
I forgot John was in that too. He was great in both.

Solid movie - all of Tom Holland's Spiderman movies have been.
Fun way to introduce more Marvel lore.

Loved the "camera work" on the web swinging scenes.

I’m honestly surprised Spider-Man was able to overcome Marvel fatigue. I guess it shows that the A-list characters can still draw. Doomsday will probably go over a billion.

Looks good, but surprised they didn’t cast any Tiny Trannies to give ole Spidey a real challenge! 😆 🏳️‍🌈

Pedo Mauler's Life Accomplishments:

1. Obsessed over trannies. CHECK
2. Kept small children locked in his basement. CHECK

The End.

Mama Mauler would be so proud of you, if you hadn't done what you did to her. Why couldn't she just stay out of that basement, amirite?

Fringe characters are not going to be huge box office draws and they (the Marvel folk) need to realize this and not stop making the movies but spend accordingly.

The big exception to that was Shang Chi which did really well and was a fantastic movie. It was also directed by the same guy who just directed this Spidey movie.

This. And also, well the Marvel Universe story arc from Iron Man in 2008 through 2019 is the biggest thing ever pulled off in 125 years of making movies. 23 films that made 21 billion dollars all interwoven with A-list Hollywood past present and future stars and very few bad ones. When it was done in 2019 even without Covid there was going to be a fall off.

Seems like they are getting it back. The Thunderbolts I feel captured the magic right again. Agree on you about Shang Chi that was one bright spot as well.

Another bad miscalculation was the interweaving of story through Disney + shows. That did not work and was a bad idea due to how many. Should have been just a few. Same thing with Star Wars. Oversaturated it and some sucked and then people going to movies also confused by not watching series

I have heard good things about the stand alone shows - Daredevil and Wonderman (I think). Loki was absolutely fantastic.
I never found time for most of the other stuff - Secret Wars and She-Hulk....

There just hasn't been enough time.

Black Panther was another fringe character that did really well - RIP Chadwick.

I enjoyed watching the shows on the new captain America with the winter soldier. A little obvious on the race baiting but still a good series.
