Here is the video. Their house cracks me up. Makes me miss college.

I just watched a Stilly Boys video focusing on Mikey White. He is working a lot with Casey. Casey states Mikey is a sponge and doesn't quit and just keeps wrestling. I am really interested in Mikey White and his potential, so I really liked this video.

I saw that too, and was thinking Casey is giving up a lot of weight in that match-up right?!? What a scrapper. Mikey says he got the last takedown but I thought I heard Casey snap back that he teched him earlier? Could that be correct? So much talent in that room.

Is there any media source that lists heights for our wrestlers? I was wondering how tall everyone is, thinking about future weights and what they might be able to grow into.

More stats would be super cool. Height, weight, avg takedowns/riding time per match, fastest victory, anything like that would be fun af
This is a great idea. Sometimes during the year we will see tidbits like "leads the team in takedowns." Oh yeah? Where can we see the leaders? Publish all these stats. Takedowns, Reversals, Escapes, Back points, Falls, MDs, Tech Falls, Fastest Falls, Total Time on Mat, Average Time on Mat, etc. Have "Baseball Cards" for each wrestler.

The NCAA does keep stats like this so they're out there. Also do this for the conference, have Big 12 Conference Leaders.

So assuming he’s gunning for that weight, what’re Swid’s odds of taking and holding down the 165 spot from Dee? I don’t know how they compare height/walking weight wise. I think Dee would have the edge, but Swid is such a junkyard dog I can’t rule him out.

I cannot answer this, but I would love to watch the answer happen!
Plus we should have Facundo down there in the mix as well, correct? Sheesh! I know I have asked this 37 times already but CAN Dee redshirt? Or does that make no sense to now with the new rules?

OHkie this is super cool. Thank you for sharing! Dang, Dean Hamiti Jr. had 90 takedowns that year. His sweet ankle pick was a work of art!

Yes we just need this exact stat sheet on a rolling basis published throughout the year. Would be so easy to do.
wait where is that stat? not seeing it

Why couldn't he ... but let the best man wrestle.
Sorry, I meant can he redshirt without losing a year of eligibility with the new rules? I am still confused on how they work. Are the regular redshirts eliminated now for his year of entry? I have no clue. If he gets beat out for the 165 spot and he has a redshirt year to use, he should definitely use it.

In the media guide that OHkie shared, on Page 50 you will see the "Season Statistics." On the very right side you can find Takedowns (TD). Hamiti led the team with 90, Plott was second with 70, Hendrickson had 60, Jamison and Surber 56, and Spratley with 49.

I wonder what they were for this past year?

I believe he can choose what eligibility rules he follows. So yes he could do a redshirt but then he would only have 3 years left. He will have the same amount of years left regardless so I don’t really see a reason for him to opt into the old rules.

...old rules-----Olympic shirt available?
No. You could use regular RS next year during Olympic year though. Rumors are the Olympic trials will be in December . That would allow college guys to train freestyle and then wrestle 2nd semester

It has felt like in a few of the stilly boys videos that several guys have been not really scared or hesitant, but also not really looking forward to rolling with Dreshaun. That has to be a good sign. Maybe that’s just the way I’ve been interpreting what I’m seeing.

Seen a video yesterday of someone putting Penn State vs OK State. They had Swiderski at 174. That would be quite the jump in weight for him. And sorry I have not been around since the change in the website. When it changed for some reason, it wouldn't let me login and I no longer had access to that email linked to it anymore.

Gotta give the guy some props on the cut to 49 if we’re being honest.

Also, don’t blame him for bouncing from ISU since 41 was where they wanted him.
