Do you think JJ and staff might look at Eastern Michigan's Sisi Eleko, a 6'2" forward who averaged 17.6 points and 9.9 rebounds, or Western Illinois' Mia Nicastro, a 6'2" forward who averaged 24.1 points? and 9.8 rebounds a game? Nicastro had 20 points and 7 rebounds against Iowa last year? OR, would adding another body hurt the team chemistry that has already been formed?

A judge in Colorado and a Nashville chancellor issued rulings Friday that will give 30 basketball players a fifth season of eligibility and prevent the NCAA from keeping them out of the transfer portal.

The new eligibility rule raises some intriguing possibilities. The special transfer portal does not open until tomorrow so it’s unknown yet who will enter.

It’s also only open one week, a small fraction of the number of players of the earlier portal and the fall semester is about to begin, so I would think everything will happen relatively soon.

Nicastro would be a good add IMO for insurance purposes but I don’t think Iowa will be in the market.

I believe the roster is set. With the transfers added, most notably Carnegie, McCabe doesn’t make any sense. In addition to (lack of) need, you have to wonder how well TM has recovered from a nasty late season ACL tear.

Agree. Plus, she'd have to withdraw from Grad School at ND, and place her coaching aspirations on hold.
