We have a band aid lineup tonight, but the yankees are embarassing themselves, its like the keystone cops out there. And of course Boone doesnt challenge an obvious out at third base. OK thats better 9-4 now

Chicago is called the Windy City for a reason.I’d like to get to a place where every fly ball isn’t an adventure.
There are exactly two hitters in the Yankees lineup that are currently hitting over .250.It is simply incredible how bad this team is at getting runners in from 3rd base with less than 2 outs.
Yesterday it's Grisham. Today it's Dominguez.
Yankees lose both games as a direct result.
This team is complete shiit..
I hope they miss the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the trillion dollar outfield is on IL and still getting paid.
I've lost count how many "Ws" Schlittler has lost with shiity late inning meltdowns by his teammates. There are exactly two hitters in the Yankees lineup that are currently hitting over .250.
Rice at .269 and Goldschmidt at .254. And neither of them are exactly on fire right now.
If it wasn't for the pitching they'd probably be in last place by now.
I guess they figure the staff will keep them afloat until Judge, Stanton, and Bellinger return.
The last two games in Chicago may have shown them that they might have miscalculated.
I share your frustration though. Yesterday and today were brutal...especially for the starting pitchers.
It’s that City collection crap. These are better than the Wrigleyville ones before but I hate when they’re not in the classic pinstripes on Friday afternoons. As Kay said, reminds you of the Expos. Is it just me or are the Cubs unis today God-awful?
I was thinking a MAC football team but YES!!!It’s that City collection crap. These are better than the Wrigleyville ones before but I hate when they’re not in the classic pinstripes on Friday afternoons. As Kay said, reminds you of the Expos.
Um, some guys are on the DL, but you should already know that. Here are the batting averages of the nine guys starting for the Yankees at Wrigley tonight:
.200, .249, .234, .228, .224, .244, .236, .235, .239.
What do they figure Fried is supposed to do for run support ?
The offense is such a weak azz collection of swing and miss batters.Today’s starting pitcher for the Cubs strikes out 7% of the battery he faces. So far? 4 Yankee batters to the plate, 4 Yankee strikeouts.
SMDH
What do you expect from a Martian. The offense is such a weak azz collection of swing and miss batters.
Oh, and another observation...someone teach Dominguez to hit the cutoff on flyballs.
Just absolutely terribly low baseball IQ.
I’m pretty sure he can play any position in the infield, he’s hitting 285 with 23 home runs and what, 75 RBIs? My guess is either Jazz or Volpe are on the way out by tomorrow night. I don’t see how this isn’t a positive edition?Trying to understand how the Garcia trade fits the team???
Team needs a catcher, 1/2 relievers, a right handed bat that plays 3B, and now they acquire a guy that's primarily a 2B when Chisholm doesn't want to play 3B.
Maybe they pull something off tonite or Monday, but right now...the only good thing Cashman has done is jettison Doval/Bird.
Love your predictions on Volpe/Chisholm.I’m pretty sure he can play any position in the infield, he’s hitting 285 with 23 home runs and what, 75 RBIs? My guess is either Jazz or Volpe are on the way out by tomorrow night. I don’t see how this isn’t a positive edition?
During yesterday's game I thought there was rather favorable update on Stanton. Maybe begins to face live pitching? I believe there was a positive update on Rodon as well.Love your predictions on Volpe/Chisholm.
The Garcia acquisition also hints that Judge/Stanton are returning anytime soon.
