With all respect to Mr 👻, his omission isn’t egregious. You could certainly make the case for him being on the list. But on the flip side, he got to play for an extra season vs. everyone on this list (except Smith). And he was still only 1st team all conference once, never sniffed All American teams, and never made it to the second weekend of the NCAA. Heck of a good player and I think he deserves a spot on any list. But his omission isn’t a crime against the Cats.

Other guys I’m a little surprised didn’t make it and should probably get on a list before Boo: Ayo Dosunmu (1st team BIG and consensus All American), Mateen Cleaves (All American and the best player on the only BIG team to win a title in 25 years until this season),

My main point for Boo is that he carried the team on his back to two tourney berths and 1st round wins. He had some solid players around him, but nothing like when Smith could just lob the ball to Edey 15 times a game.

Look how the team did before and after he came into his own as a leader in his jr year.

No question. All time campus legend. I’m just playing devils advocate. I’m sure every school has a Boo in their history that they think has to be included.

The things that I expect would matter for this kind of thing is Boo being chosen for the Left Driesell Award and being a two time All B1G member. An article like this needs accolades beyond school records. Consider two of his picks only played a couple of years, and did it on stacked teams.
