Would be a confirmed bill that gets sent to the lower body not in session for them to vote so that it can be signed by the president

It's ridiculous that Congress is wasting time on this. Do they really have nothing better to do than over regulate college sports? Just another example of the government sticking it's nose where it doesn't belong.

They act like they know they they're talking about, but the reality is that almost none of them have the industry knowledge to foresee the things they'll break downstream with their "fixes".

If passed, the bill will allow conferences to go to 19 members. Which means there will be a final wild last chance conference realignment/expansion. When the dust clears, the ACC will probably have five spots to fill after expected departures. One of those new members will be UCONN.

Candidly, I don't follow this stuff or the prediction as much as others. Beyond UCONN, do you think any non-football BE programs will be targets, or will the ACC target only programs with football.

Who knows? The ACC might be desperate to try anything. They’re looking at the likes of UCONN and Tulane to replace UNC, Virginia, Miami, Clemson and Fla State. Not good. The Big 12 will likely go for Memphis, San Fidgo State and Wash State. The B1G of course ND.
