It’s honestly embarrassing - the sheep is the animal mascot for MAGA. The reflection pool is entirely inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, but Trump can never admit fault and will tell outlandish lies that are immediately accepted by his followers. You can literally see the evidence with your own eyes and attach basic logic…

MAGA has been shedding followers - the only people left are generally white, old, and uneducated (or of diminished mental capacity due to age). See our resident MAGA posters like @TigerGrowls and @PalmettoTiger1..

How they aren't embarrassed enough to slink back in their holes by now, I'll never understand.

All their social media stars are losing followers and views by millions as they finally realize they've all been fooled.

This is why you see people like Rogan, Tucker, and even Laura Ingraham modifying their messaging. You gotta give people what they want to hear. Benny isn't. His listeners are angry, and they are moving on. It makes you wonder what the Ellison business plan for CNN will be?

People dont like it when they know you're blowing smoke up their *** about the New Fools Golden Age.

I hope Ellison takes a lesson from it and doesn't start randomly firing CNN hosts that Trump doesn't like because it hasn't worked for CBS and trying to appeal to a historically unpopular president will tank their ratings...not that they're high but they would be in the tank if he meddles with them to please the king.

Ellison doesn't seem to be as stupid as Eloon. Overpay for an asset, and then destroy it.

Still loving the trailblazing Trump is doing

The impact of Trump will be felt for 10-15 years and if a Republican is elected next President the effects may last 25 to 40 years

So you yokals get used to being the out crowd

Keep complaining about me after I am dead

I never did understand the explanation about someone cutting a hard surfaced pool bottom being cut with a box knife and a sheet pulled up for a couple hundred feet

But I was waiting to hear more evidence to explain this situation

I am presently fighting algae and bottom muck in a five acre pond. Lined on one side with trees

Algae is a botch to get rid of and hard to keep out

The paint issue never made sense so something was not being explained correctly

Just had a chance to read some more of the news reports

Maybe we need to wait till there are more concise clear reports as the news seems to be screwed up from all sides

I have done some concrete pool work and it can have its issues

My take on this is that so far I am poorly informed and the reporting does not make sense

Maybe. Lie but does not make sense

You’re missing the point, which is not unexpected.

The contract was awarded to a contractor in Trump’s orbit with no comparable experience on a no bid contract. Do you, as a taxpayer, support no bid contracts? Why are they a good use of taxpayer resources? As we can see the repair failed, are you not worried about billions in other contracts that Trump has awarded to those in his orbit?

The former Olympian was arrested because of Trump’s insistence that the issue was due to damage, not a botched repair. As you can see in the dismissal there was no evidence that this man committed a crime. Are you supportive of politically-driven arrests that ignore basic protections afforded by the Constitution?

Again, the botched repair is a relatively trivial matter but exposes one of the many flaws of this administration that can lead to costly, both in $ and in reduction of rights, consequences for citizens.

Poor fading Palmetto ...

"does not make sense" ... to YOU ... because your fragile mind only sees your Fuhrer as infallible. The reality that he's a lying self-serving POS, willing to throw anyone and everyone under the bus to protect his own extremely fragile ego is bumping up against the lie you've told yourself - that he's a god.

He took the cheap way out, against the advice of experts, and he rushed the job. Shockingly, to no one, except his sycophants, the job failed and rather than accept blame for it ... he went out and had an innocent man arrested, and tried to portray others as responsible for his eff up.

And this was about something as meaningless as a pool. He does this regarding EVERYTHING in his life. And you love him for being an inhuman POS.

Appreciate the very clear logical explanation. Anyone reading it should understand the issues at play.

Board needs more of this

So when does the DOJ sue the clown that got the no bid contract to get the money back??? And if you don't think trump made out financially in this fiasco then you are really naive.

LOL. DOJ blaming the DOI. This administration is a JOKE.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool renovation involved two major no-bid contracts totaling over $16 million awarded to firms with personal or business ties to President Trump, justified by the administration as an urgent push for the nation’s 250th birthday, but later scrutinized following peeling paint, algae blooms, and dropped vandalism charges.
