Sweatpants and sweatshirts (sometimes) in the summer?

I run hot so summer can be miserable depending on the humidity and other things. I'm always in shorts and tank top/tshirt.

Recently I've noticed people wearing sweatpants and sometimes even a sweatshirt in 90° hear with high humidity. Why!?!! I sweat just thinking about it and how miserable it must be. They seem unfazed.

Anyone else notice this happening recently? Jeans? Sure for others. Sweatpants and hoodie? GTFO

Just returned from going to a bank branch. Standing in front of me was a younger person wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants. I was wearing shorts, sandals and a tee-shirt. I thought it was warm while standing there. Made me think of this thread.

You are describing the official high school uniform in 2026. Regardless of temp, that's what they wear.

Through the years on my bus, I've had middle and high school kids of all shapes, colors and sizes wear hoodies when it is 90 degrees out.

It amazes me to this day. And I'll guarantee when school begins next month, that very first day I'll have older kids wearing them.
