Don't know, but I take a shot every time he begins a sentence with "Jim ...". I'm usually plastered by the end of the first quarter.Isn’t he usually drunk in the broadcast booth?

A first-offense Operating While Intoxicated (OWI)—the term for a DUI in Wisconsin—is generally treated as a civil traffic violation rather than a criminal crime. Standard penalties include fines of $150 to $300 (plus a mandatory $435 OWI surcharge), a 6-to-9-month driver's license revocation, and a mandatory alcohol assessment. Jail time is not required unless specific aggravating factors are present.
Not true. I shoot a +35 or worse every single time I golf and have never once gotten a DUI.I think I heard that he shot a +35 that day on a difficult course.
You know what they say: shooting a +35 and getting a DUI later that day go hand-in-hand.
Yeah poor attempt at humor. Not true. I shoot a +35 or worse every single time I golf and have never once gotten a DUI.
Because no one cares.I was surprised that nobody posted about it yet. All I can say is what a way to pi$$ away an easy peasy career!

Police: Tony Romo had open bottle of alcohol in car when arrested
CBS NFL analyst and former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had an open container of alcohol in his vehicle when he was arrested last week on suspicion of driving under the influence, police say.www.espn.com

My late Uncle was a District Magistrate. That helped for a few people in our family.Romo should have said his dad was a cop. My friend got pulled over 3x in one night and the cops let him go 3X.
I agree with all of the above, however having a 40 year old child with drinking problem and living in Retirement Village where 8 of 10 scheduled community activities have an alcohol theme there comes a time of accountability and reset .First thought, only thought, last thought after watching all of that. Romo seems like a really good guy. Always love when he is doing the 4:25 pm game and that next cocktail is more enjoyable than the first.
He would make for an excellent neighbor. Hope the network is kind.

Yeah, agree. Was just discussing his easy nature about the entire situation he created.I agree with all of the above, however having a 40 year old child with drinking problem and living in Retirement Village where 8 of 10 scheduled community activities have an alcohol theme there comes a time of accountability and reset .
Agreed. The open bottle is really the only problem here. Guessing CBS will make him go to rehabGreat broadcaster -- very insightful during his games. Hope he learns a lesson.

the very likely alcohol use disorder is the problem here, the open container is a symptom., When someone is pulled over for DUI they have usually been driving drunk many times before. Wonder if his drinking is an issue behind scenes at CBSAgreed. The open bottle is really the only problem here. Guessing CBS will make him go to rehab
Good question--fair questionthe very likely alcohol use disorder is the problem here, the open container is a symptom., When someone pulled over DUI that have usually been driving drunk many times before. Wonder if his drinking an issue behind scenes at CBS

Sounds about right. (I’ve had my share of issues with drinking.)the very likely alcohol use disorder is the problem here, the open container is a symptom., When someone pulled over DUI that have usually been driving drunk many times before. Wonder if his drinking an issue behind scenes at CBS
