Channeling Ned ^^^^.
I love the people who refuse to take responsibility for their voting while talking out both sides of their mouths. "WE NEED TO GET RID OF EVERY LYING POLITICIAN IN D.C.!!!!!!" and then they vote straight-ticket for incumbents in their preferred party and tell everyone they are iNdEpEnDenT FrEe ThInKeRs NoT iN a CuLt.

You don't have parents?
I'm convinced that many people running their mouths don't know what either of those programs is. Like these people:

I can't believe two people who paid into the system for 40+ years didn't take their son's advice to decline the benefits the moment they are eligible.
Well my mom never paid in so she won’t get anything. The libs have no problem upping my FICA tax to shore up the system. Nah I’m good. Let the system collapse.

I also dislike it when politicians continue to make promises and break those promises. Wouldn’t it be great if we could just kick them to the curb the second they break a promise or lie about something.
Would most likely make for a better country. All politicians do is lie and cheat.

You encounter two people are are both 5' 11.5" and a ask them their height. One says he is 6' tall. The other says he is 7' 6", and the tallest human being ever to exist.

Do you just say "Meh - they're both liars?"

Do you spend alot of time thinking about Medicare or Medicaid? I don't use government assistance.

We have a healthcare system that requires having a job to have reasonably affordable healthcare. When you retire, the only option for the vast majority of Americans is Medicare.

You will use it one day, if Republicans allow it to survive.

Are they both needing to be 6’ tall for a job? Are they both campaigning on being 6’ or taller. Then yes both are liars.
is it a casual conversation where one says he’s 7’6 and the other says he’s 6’, I probably will only assume one is lying and not the other.
Now if I do more research and find out they both are lying, which one looks worse? One that thought he could get by with lying or the obvious liar who you know is lying and most likely pulling your chain.
Which one do you think is worse in that scenario?

The second one is the worse AINEC. I can't believe we have reached a point where anyone believes it could be viewed otherwise. I guess you have to do what you have to do in order to justify to yourself support of such a vulgar human being.

The wisdom of ending this Medicare subsidy is questionable, but the timing of the announcement that this subsidy will end verges on crazy. Medicare and Social Security are a "third rail" of politics, and restricting benefits under either program is politically dangerous. Notices of the cut in federal subsidies for the Medicare Part D prescription drug program will go out to 25 million seniors in early October, just weeks before the midterm election.

I guess I should say "Thank you, Trump." This is not gonna help GOP congressional candidates.

I think he feels it won't hurt him (as he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and lose no support) and I don't think he cares about the rest of the party. He only cares about himself. If anything, it is a test of everyone's loyalty to him. When he does something that makes them look bad, he will watch to see who says "Thank you sir, may I have another."
