In the event La Familia wins the tournament, how is the 2 mil distributed? Surely it’s not divided equally?

IMO the coach and manager should get a set amount (like 100k each) and the rest should be split up based on the players +/- or something.

In years past each players payout was decided before and posted on the website. But I assume it’s just kept in house now and all have an agreed upon amount if they win.

I’ve wondered as well. I’m sure it was something they all agreed upon before they started playing but I’m very curious to know how they distribute it. Hopefully that comes out and hopefully we win.

I would think anyone who dressed out all games would receive more than those who didn’t.

The teams have to turn in a paper that allocates the money and tbt pays according to that structure.
So your team gets a paper and you list every player and staffs "salary" that totals 2 mil and they pay that. Players probably make more but a even split could also be likely. Just depends on how the guys agree.

No kidding? I didn’t know anyone necessarily owned the team but that makes sense. I would love to know how all that went down. Ya know?

If so, I assume he had to put some of his own money up. You would think at least.

Ten players, one GM, and a few coaches = split about 13 ways. They each will walk away with around $120,000 after taxes. Not bad for a month's work. That's over years salary for most Americans.

I have no idea how TBT works other than they have a tournament. Being honest I haven’t watched any of the games any of the years. Just not my cup of tea but glad they are doing well.
