I thought she played pretty solid defense as well. Leading the league in points derived from scoring and assists together is just another stat that shows her value. This all done with a minutes restriction is pretty amazing. But I'm sure it will get downplayed by the oh so objective ESPN experts.

Man if she keep hitting that mid-range in the lane, including that turnaround fadeaway shot, opponent game planning is going to be a blurry mess.
Other then getting lost a couple of times, (like on that inbounds play) she played with effort against some pretty good athletes.
Absolutely. She's put in some work on that mid range step back and floater. Pretty crazy the clip of her warming up pre game, and she made 53 out 64 shots from three as well.....
Fever will be favored in next game by quite a bit on the road, I think. Sunday, at home against Minnesota, who I believe has the best record in the WNBA will be interesting. Hope CC can continue this hot streak, as well as her teammates.
They have very little chance to beat Minny without a healthy Boston.
While that is impressive, her not speaking out on the crisis in the Middle East really is bothersome.

Originally yes. Unfortunately The W has no control over Unrivaled. It was set up by two of its stars as a separate league, and has no affiliation with the W. I guess their only option is to write clauses into NEW contracts forbidding players to play in other leagues, if they can pull that off. For players like Boston who just signed a 6 million $ contract, that might work, but most of the players still aren't making anything like that kind of money.
If the NBA used the same kind of nonsense handing out T's for guys jawing at each other, half the stars would be suspended multiple times every year. Unfortunately CC22 put herself in a precarious situation with some of her antics chasing after refs being upset after calls. She has to get to the playoffs where the tech penalties reset.
This gives me an idea for next years all-star game.
I think the contract idea is good for the highly paid players. But then no play, no pay if injured.
I think the litmus test for this will be next season when Napheesa Collier's contract is up, and she'll be an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. There's been some smoke that the Lynx may not be able to resign her with the cap, and the fact that they've played so well without her, may have them leaning that direction. Wherever she signs, will that team require her to not play in her own league in the off season, given she'll probably be making more than the 1.4 million she's making this season?
I’m not sure she would agree to not play in a league she started. Now how that league is doing financially I have no idea. But watching ladies play 3 V 3 doesn’t really excite me. And aren’t they going to the longer schedule soon with 50 games? Trying to play in 2 leagues is just asking to get hurt.
AND, that was my point. That's why it will be a litmus test, if whoever wants to sign her puts in her contract that she can't play in Unrivaled. I have to believe that her and Stewie (who started that league) are going to ball at that, but money talks. Will they walk out on the W if they get backed into the corner now that the league can afford to pay much higher salaries to SOME players, and the fact that the leagues two founders are two of the top 5-10 players.

Sophie Cunningham signed a deal for over $2M a year with equity in the Project B league. Nobody is going to turn down money like that. Only 72 roster spots in this league.
We all know about how underaged Sophie fans who were yelled at and cussed at by a Storm co-owner, but it will be interesting to see what happens to a Storm fan for spitting on a presumptive Fever fan at the game. Security told the victim to contact the organization about the matter, instead of seeking out the aggressor. Looks like legal action might be on the way.

Whenever I see Bonner play, it makes me sick. She's playing like an MVP now. She should refund her salary from when she was at Indy.
NGL I could see them moving her before the deadline on Sunday. Could you imagine what the fever could do with her for the back half of the season?
