I didn't read the article, but I've posted before that historically prices do not retreat to their previous levels after these periods of high inflation like we had in 2022. This time is not different. What we're seeing now is a continuation of the price increase we saw then...plus we can add a little more to the prices based on tariffs and high fuel prices exacerbated by the war in Iran

Correct,.. The only way to recover from an inflationary episode like this is an extended period of wage growth slightly exceeding a stable low inflation rate,... Even if we're lucky, it will still take years to regain the nominal 25% loss of purchasing power that Biden delivered.

Beef products - those prices started higher a couple of years ago and are going to be higher for the next couple of years. When Trump brought in argentinian beef, you complained about that: Eggs (you whined about those for the first 6 months or Trump's term), milk, produce???

I have enough money, so I can buy whatever I need. Some things are higher - yea I know, trump's fault- some things are lower. Guess what, it's been that way forever, and I'll bet it will be that way in the future. Sop you might as well get used to it.
