Bud, you are clueless. I’m not a huge fan of EV’s, but they are getting better every day. Battery life has pretty well been solved. They will be the majority of vehicles on the road in 20 years.
And all I said was some vehicles are made better than others and withstand a crash better . Which I believe is a known fact.
I love EVs, Tesla is barely 10% of the global market. Tesla sucks. Tesla is like the Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys...we have to keep hearing about them but they are 2% of the cars on the road in America. Stock is 20x higher than other car companies despite other car companies actually making vehicles people want and can afford.
Perhaps some people’s priorities are to utilize their $ wisely - as opposed to having to wear it on their sleeve to “show” society they can waste that kind of $ on a vehicle that depreciates in value daily?

Maybe I'm misinterpreting the reports, but it seems like this accident would have pretty much been a no-injury fender-bender if Shanahan hadn't been hunched over trying to retrieve his phone. That's apparently why he got so beat up by the airbag when it deployed.
