I suppose that depends on a persons perspective. Fauci is on record, in published articles such as the one I quoted, as saying gain of function was needed, and the benefits outweighed the risk. He was also quoted in documents as saying people weren't afraid enough. Do I believe he intended for anyone to die as a result of his gain of function research? No, I don't believe that. Do I think he has done everything possible to cover up his involvement in the research and likely lab leak? Yes, I believe that and the documentation supports that.
Of course it is, for those who don’t want it to be true.
