Info borrowed/paraphrased from KSR:

Will's younger brother (Ryan) is a stud Safety recruit in the 2028 class. Ranked 238 OVR by Rivals (T20 at his position) in the rising Jr. class (with offers form Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Etc.).

Will sounds to be a very good athlete. If getting him helps get Ryan in for a visit, that is a bonus!

Stien & Co. out there playing a little game of chess it seems.

No Kenny Minchey is the starter. Transfer from ND. But with extra spots now why not take bodies who probably don’t require any money outside of a normal scholly.
They probably find them some stipend money, but when you are talking like 5-7k a month that’s nothing compared to what you pay for starters. Some of the walk ons maybe don’t get anything, but lower scholly players probably get 2k a month or something. Money to not have a job while playing.

Busting my *** for 5-6 k a month hell wish I could play a sport and make that. Y'all all think being govenor pays a lot. Not when you're like me and go by the books.

Yea I’m sure they find them something. I just like stein is filling the roster because he can. No reason not to and he knows how big boys operate.

Yep and there's a definite willingness to move guys around on both sides of the ball. A QB could end up in the WR room or in the secondary for all we know. But with all the spots available these days, great to fill them out.

For sure, you never know. He may find a guy who was seriously overlooked and ends up being a real player. Football has to be very hard to keep track of every player across the nation to rank correctly. There’s like 80 on every HS team out there.

Not sure he’ll ever be a major factor, but it doesn’t hurt to add him. You never know.
