Agreed. Don’t see the mindset changing. Present mindset would rather take the air out of the ball and settle for field goals inside the red zone.
I'm sure Greg will greenlight a lot of low risk end zone corner fades but if he doesn't use Duff more in the middle and back of the end zone it's a dereliction of duty. Dude is uniquely suited for it.

You have to be fair his record is what it is, he is a losing coach and nothing is gonna change

He get 6 wins and some on here will be calling for an extension 😂
Some might but Keli won't. 6 wins gets him another year. He will still be in a prove it time.

Not gonna happen. Too much injury risk. Might be concussed running into the goalpost or be hit by a falling tuba. BTW, the Vegas O/U on the # of combined kick and punt returns in the next five years is 3, including in practices.

Lots of 49-42 type games this year? Or better D slightly weaker O in 2026?
We will need a tremendous turnaround on Defense based on the poor results of the Portal with the quality lost vs. what we picked up. The new Defense Staff should help. Don’t expect huge gains in the early part of the season. The DC while coaching at South Dakota lost the opening game at Iowa St. by 45 points and then lost the following week to Lamar. Learning the new system will take time.

Whoah! Did not know that and was hoping that some level of competence would produce at least improvement out of the gate, while of course it would take time or full implementation.

It was his first stint as the “Head Coach “ …maybe the Defense took a step back early on last season and then played better? He had been the DC for the previous 4 seasons. On a related note I don’t see on the Official RU Football Roster the transfer DB Mickey Munn from South Dakota that came with him.Anyone know his status?

That would be upsetting. Hopefully he'll be here in August.

@Richie O -is there a reason Mikey Munn is not listed on the Rutgers Football Roster? His X account says Rutgers. But he not listed on the official Roster for 2026

Because the roster hasn't been updated yet for Training Camp. Sean Allison, Mikey Munn, Tanner Raymond, Aiden Gibson, and James Cocozzo will be added when the roster is updated the first week of camp.

Hopefully Munn will help the Secondary.

This is a season to seize the moment and have a winning B1G record. 5 teams in the lower half on the schedule.

From the Gannett/North Jersey.com/App.com Beat Writer, who is very even keel on Rutgers:

"At Year 7 of the Schiano 2.0 Era, it’s imperative for Rutgers to show that progress.
Another losing season would be a major disappointment."
