Must just be a terrible person that kills the culture.

With Manziel, we kind of expected this to happen but Pavia didn't seem to drag down Vandy's culture

Do you really think the Ravens cut him because of culture? Seriously?

How about he is a 5-10 QB who was an UFA and also the third best QB competing for the third string QB job for a team that needed a roster spot.

I recall rooting for the guy about one week. Then the manziel type arrogance surfaced and... that was it for me.
Sometimes a supremely confident person is what a company grabs to turn the culture. Vandy needed it. MSU needed it from Mullen. I’d rather have a bunch of confident guys that hate losing more than a bunch of dudes with no edge who accept losing. He’s 5’8. He was never making the NFL. Johnny Manziel was 6ft and although was undersized, his size didn’t disqualify him like Pavia.

Arrogance or being a lunatic in general isn’t a good measuring stick for elite athletes as most of them are nuts especially outside of the qb position.

I don’t know. Bryce young and Kyler Murray are 5’ 10”. Drew Bree’s was 6’0 and was elite without good mobility. At some point you just realistically can’t overcome height with athleticism and arm talent. I would think 5’8” may be that point. And the fact that the shortest nfl and are 5’10 is a good argument.

But if Bree’s could be elite at 6’, and Murray can be good (at times) at 5’10, hard to say a 5’8” qb just can’t make it. Pavia is just not the athlete Murray is and even if he were, he’d still have to have more arm talent or some intangibles to compensate for another two inches of height.

I think the fact no qb under 5’10” has done anything in the nfl In decades & you ca. count the number under 6’2” on you fingers is pretty good indication 5’10” is probably the absolute limit & really need to be 6’2” unless you’re just exceptional.
