they have had a deal with Netflix for years but thought they ended it. They own a production company and worked exclusively with Netflix but pretty sure they terminated the deal to work with other outlets.

You may have gotten trolled

There was a similar one that had Zendaya as Obama. Crazy thing was with her hair short it wasn’t a bad likeness 😂

Let’s read it together. Where should we start? Pick a verse from below:

Leviticus 19:9–10
Leviticus 19:33–34
Deuteronomy 10:19
Deuteronomy 27:19
Exodus 23:9
Malachi 3:5
Matthew 25:35-40
Hebrews 13:2
Colossians 3:11
Can't wait for the "man ought not lay with another man" OT-quote crowd to finally let it sink in just how ratioed they were by Christ's teachings in the gospel books that "love thy neighbor" and "do for your neighbor as you would for me" is more important, over and over and over.

Some great verses about how God calls Christians to take care of others. Of course he’s talking to Christians, not the Government. I think that’s where some people get confused. I can see how you misunderstood.

You know nothing about me and assume I think the government should take care of others.

For the record, I do not.

Your response sounds like the ignorant set of assumptions made by a Trumper. That’s why he loves using his followers so much. They are either so 1) ignorant they can’t see his gambit is to use hatred to enrich himself or 2) so resolute in their hatred of everyone not white, not Christian…or both.

Now I can’t speak to whether you are a Trumper or not, that’s your cross to bear.

Like with many selections, it’s somewhat ambiguous or misleading when passages are surgically cut from a text. Context matters, especially in Scripture.

There’s a tendency to pick and choose verses of Scripture to make a point or fit a narrative. We all do that to some degree, but it’s a notable trend here.

Are you using these carefully-bounded snippets to counter a border-control policy?

Not at all.

Only that for those who espouse that a Christian ideology (albeit a version of Christianity that differs greatly from the actions and words of Jesus Christ) should be at the foundation of our government’s actions, shouldn’t it follow that we as a nation extend courtesy, hospitality, empathy and love to those crossing our borders who have earned it?

An argument can easily be made, that has not been the direction of the current administration.

So I shouldn’t assume anything about you based on your post, but you can assume something about me based on my post.

To bad the Christians don't live by them. Christ would my most likely spit in the face of the present day "Christian".

There are those that profess to be Christian, but don’t have a relationship with God. Unfortunately for them, they will meet their Judgement day.
However there are still plenty of true Christians. I think we are seeing a resurgence of faithful courage. People are becoming less afraid to call out sin.
Abortion is Murder. We can’t cut penises off little boys. Men can’t become women. You know…the obvious stuff.

Of course Christ is talking to Christians, not the government. But if Christians are going to get in bed with politics...especially if politicians are going to hold up the Bible as the foundation for public policy...then shouldn't they consistently apply that belief system to said policy?

These Christian Nationalist politicians what to use Scripture when it comes to abortion & when they want the Ten Commandments displayed in schools. Heck, they argue for school prayer, religious liberty protections, biblical definitions of marriage, etc.

So why on earth does that same "dedication" to Scripture suddenly become "that's only for individual Christians" when the Bible repeatedly commands God's people to care for the poor, the single (often pregnant) widow, the orphan, the stranger, and the foreigner? I'm not arguing the government should replace the Church...just what seems like a YUGE inconsistency.

If biblical principles belong in the public square for some issues, why not all of them?

The Anti-American groups got there start in the Obama years. Thankfully now, the America First groups have the courage to take a stand without fear of being cancelled.
It’s not that hard to understand.
Millions of bigots came out of hiding in response to Obama being elected.

Decades of success pushing America to live up to its ideals proved to be more fragile than many of us believed.
