If you disqualify Hawkins since he technically never played for Iowa as a varsity participant ...(back then frosh didn't play)...which Hawkeye would you choose?

Hmm.. Freddie or JJ in Seattle? BJ in Chicago? Don Nelson with Boston might be my pick. 14 years as a player on championship teams and then a HOF coach who is actually the coach who introduced the 'point forward" to the game.

Just one example is Texas A&M. Middleton is a fine player but is he the best ever at A&M? I would expect them to have someone else.

Brook Lopez from Stanford was another.
