Kyrie did win a championship for LeBron, maybe he thinks he’ll get him a second.

As an avid Sixers fan, I’m thrilled with this move. I think the hidden benefit is that he might be the only person that can change Embid and make him a more fit and better player. I also realize that is unlikely but a boy can dream.

LeBron and Brown joining the Sixers is remarkable. Thank you basketball gods.

Yeah, enjoy the season. This is the definition of swinging for the fences. I honestly have no clue as to how all this will work out but LeBron is LeBron.

I will need to check this but when Bill Simmons came up with his all time
NBA team he envisioned a second team anchored by LBJ, Scottie, and Tim Duncan. LBJ is no worse than #3 all time for me.

And at $4 million a year. Nothing negative here. You didn’t have to lose anything except pocket change to get him

I think you are correct. Embiid is the issue. But if there is anyone in the Association with a stature that virtually compels Embiid to get in line, it is LeBron. If the Sixers stay healthy next season, look out!

I’m old-fashioned (and stupid 😞) and believe that the all-time greats should play with one team. lebron playing for seventeen teams distracts from his legacy in my small mind. Stay in one place or stop the f*ck playing. For f*ck’s sake.

Had a buddy state this: "Will he be the greatest player to play for the Sixers? Absolutely."

My reply

"Let me know when LeBron scores 100 points in a game. With no 3-point shot and no OT--and 25 boards. So, no."
Greatest ever? A 42 year old LeBron is at best #3, probably lower. AI took a team with Eric Snow, George Lynch, and Tyrone Hill to the NBA finals.

Wilt had a knack for scoring.

Why did they call him Wilt?

Wilt, Dr J, Chuck, AI, Moses before LBJ
AI may had great individual talent and a cross-over move that was the best I've ever seen, but he was not a great winning player. He was a gunner pure and simple, and he shot way too much for a small point guard. His jump shot was not great by NBA standards. I would love to see the correlation between his shooting percentage and the Win/Loss performance of his team to prove my point.
