So the “super team” in golden state must be happening.
I originally liked LeBron. However he keeps ruining any sort of legacy he has by teaming up with other stars chasing championships and having zero loyalty.

I’m going to pretend this is a NBA free agency/trade thread. With that said, it’s looking like there’s a good chance the clippers are going to trade kawhi back to Toronto. How in the world would the league allow the clippers to trade kawhi when he and the clippers are still under investigation for paying him under the table?
The nba should void his contract already making him a free agent and punish the clippers multiple draft picks and money for paying him outside his negotiated contract. As a wolves fan, I had to live through that punishment from the Joe smith fiasco.

The Kawhi case seemed pretty open and shut, feels like you have rules or you don't.

Go back to Miami. Split time with Wiggins and keep body fresh. Make a run in the East. Bam, Freak, Bron and some role players.

I read something - so not sure if it's true - that said that LeBron waited to tell the Lakers he wasn't coming back until after the date passed that guaranteed Bronny's Lakers salary for this coming season. So, he kinda effed the Lakers on his way out and stuck them with either Bronny, or his dead money from cutting him.

They should cut him and eat it out of spite.

Seems like the league might actually do what’s right yet after all. I would have to assume the raptors hope that the nba voids his contract and they can sign him as a free agent and not give up anything for him.

He’s going to Philly. And he thinks everyone is stupid, attempting to say that he thought he played his last game this season lol. Nobody in their right mind believes his attention ***** *** would retire without a farewell tour

What a filthy lineup, damn.

Embiid
Jaylen Brown
VJ Edgecombe
Tyrese Maxey
Lebron

On paper it sounds unbeatable but will likely hinge on Embiid's health,.

They'll be favorites at the beginning of the season, and then that'll slowly go downhill and at best they'll lose in the conference finals.
Yah, that's why I said on paper but its definitely the most talented starting lineup. Not enough balls to go around though so will be interesting to see how it works.

There's only one ball and LeBron needs to touch it every time down the court.

that's fine. maxey doing his best steph curry impression with lebron sharing ball handling duties is fine

having enough front court depth to enable LBJ and embiid to rest for post season still an issue

I would not have bet it being phili but I’m guessing he thinks they will have the best chance to win it all. Chasing one more ring.
would have liked to see him back in Cleveland for his farewell tour or Minnesota as they need a PF.
