If this is true...then anyone against "mail in" voting needs to say something and make their voices heard.
There has always been a way to absentee vote by mail. I had to do it a view times decades ago and my ballot had to be notarized. Does Donald need a notary? What polling station should we shut down so he can vote in person? Now they literally take or send ballots to last known addresses or homeless camps. There have been many cases of ballot harvesters in California filling out ballots for people. It’s amazing how those ballot dumps always come out nearly 100% for Democrats.

I am for mail in voting.

..if he went in person, people would complain about the security detail and cost and blah blah blah and would have said he shoulda mailed it in. When you consider how many times people have tried to kill him in public, I think most reasonable people understand why he'd do a mail in. I'm OK with any Prez of either party tending to more pressing matters and saving the time it would take to do an in person, by doing a mail in. But mail im needs to go away for the rest of us. Presidents get to do a lot of things we as normal folks don't, that should be one of them IMO.

I can see that...

But then people should not ***** about mail in ballots. If one person can do it and if you are okay with that, then you can't ***** about mail in ballots.

Again, I think voting should be as easy as possible and that you should just need a (free) ID.

I have never done mail in voting because I am not a clown that can't make it to a voting booth.

I am one of those annoying people that takes way too long to vote though. Like, I take 15 minutes or so.

Nah. Presidents have more important issues to deal with. Now if the Prez wants to do an in person, OK, no complaints from me. But I'd prefer our President, Democrat or Reoublican, mail it in. In person is just a photo op anyway, when mail in was available.

You are too smart to be conflating "absentee" voting and "mail-in" voting. There is a huge, huge, huge difference between the 2 of them. Absentee voting is largely infrequent and more tightly controlled whereas mail in voting is fraught with fraudulent and irregular activities because of ballot harvesting and lack of control over the ballots. There is ample evidence of the fraudulent events through video and whistleblower testimony. Unfortunately, when those cases get litigated, most courts rule there is a "lack of standing." So, all the evidence is not allowed to be heard. It is not a matter of counting the ballots, it is a matter of whether ballots should be eligible and counted to begin with.

Nah!

There's a multitude of reasons why a person may not be able to vote in person on Election Day.

Never been an issue until the POS currently in the WH started crying about it.

One thing to know...Donald Trump voted "by mail" in the special election a few months ago in Florida.

The hypocrisy of the Radical Right is shocking.

And the ignorance of the far left is stunning. The Save America Act does not get rid of mail-in voting.

The act mandates that anyone who registers to vote by mail must present documentary proof of citizenship in person at a local election office for their registration to be valid. Additionally, voters who cast an absentee or mail-in ballot must include copies of a government-issued photo ID with their ballot.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me (and most voters).

Are you denying the efforts of this WH to end mail in voting?

Trump has been on this mission since the day he lost in 2020.

You can bet your azz that had Trump beat Biden, we wouldn't be even discussing this subject.

Nice spin attempt. The facts are in front of us. Trump's signature legislation he'd like to sign this year does NOT remove mail-in voting.

Are you in denial about this fact? Or do you have TDS and when he says something behind a mic it sends you into orbit and that is what you are going on? Pretty sure we all know the answer

Wait, so to mail in your vote...you have to show up in person? That seems odd, doesn't it?

They must show ID in person to register. When actually voting via mail they can include a photocopy of their ID or the last 4 of their SSN in the mail with their ballot. .
Oh, okay...that makes sense.

But how is that different than now? That is what I do to register.

What’s working at home have to do with going to vote on voting day.
People that work from home tend to have a lot of "free time" to go to the gym, the story, out for a walk, to the doctor, to the dentist, run some errands...

I worked from home for 2 months and it was amazing how much free time I had to do **** that I wanted to do and/or needed to do.

My guess, is that for people who don't vote, one of the excuses was/is "I am stuck at work"

After experiencing mail in voting in Colorado, I have to say it is much better. The ballot goes directly to authorities without random nobodies involved in any way. You don’t get a ballot without being registered and vetted. Ballot envelopes are individually printed one-to-one per valid voter. Your ballot envelope doesn’t get opened much less counted unless your signature matches what is on file. You can check to confirm that your personal ballot was received, or counted, or held up for some reason like signature. Two ballots received for same voter is easily caught. A ballot for a fictitious person is easily caught.

That’s the way voting works. First, you count the votes. Then, you declare the winner.
It was the 99% coming in for the candidate that was in 3rd place that was the issue. In LA, they decided who was going to be in 1st and 2nd, then found the votes they needed to achieve the result.

Absentee ballots are different than "by mail". When I was in the military stationed overseas, I was still allowed to vote in my local and federal elections. But I had to have the absentee ballot completed and postmarked before the day of the election or it wasn't counted. Mail in ballots, in California for example, are sent out automatically to registered voters. In other states, to vote by mail, you need to request the ballot, then it is sent to the address on record. When you provide the opportunity to cheat people will take advantage of it.

What is wrong with homeless people voting?

If you know people that are committing voter fraud, like you just said you do, why are you not reporting it and/or filming those immigrants as they illegally cast their vote? You can help stop it.
Again in 90% of the "mail in" ballots returned after the polls closed are for 1 candidate in a race where 3 candidates were relatively close in most every precinct, that screams of some sort of impropriety. Much like when more votes were counted than registered voters in some polling stations in 2020. Something stinks about that but you would have to prove it took place.

I suppose it would go for everyone except only one side is arguing for a bill to require ID to vote, which would reduce the opportunity to cheat. Why would someone not vote for a bill that would ensure election integrity? Why are the states and cities that want to continue to have such loopholes all run by democrats? If I was cheating at a game and winning, why would I want to change to rules to restrict the opportunities for me to cheat.

True...OR the R's could know it would never pass so they know if they are the ones that bring it up...they will look like the non-cheaters...when in fact, everyone is cheating?

I don't really believe that though. I just don't think that much, if any, cheating goes on with voting.

So they all get in a room and say, ok the house is going to pass this bill 3 different times, what we are going to do is get 49 of us to vote yes, a couple of us vote no. And that is going to be kept a secret, but people cheating on vote counts and harvesting ballots, no way that could happen because you would need everyone to keep quiet? C'mon man

Voting should mean TONS of polling places and it should be easy to get there and vote. It should probably be a day off for people too.
I went to the wrong polling place one year, less than 10 minutes later I was at the correct polling place.

Just speaking for Omaha, but there are a ton of polling places here.

We could argue all day about this. Dems say Trump whines and complains about 2020,, Dems say GOP is full of crap about election integrity. Meanwhile, the GOP claims the left cheats. Who's right?

Easy Solution: Pass the Save Act and give everyone confidence in elections again. People forget, Hillary and the left said 2016 was stolen. Let's fix the system. But no,.... Only one party wants to prevent this. Democrats. They won't pass the election intregrity bill .... then they b*tch that Republicans claim there's no election integrity. Anyone who can't see this is willfully ignorant or blind IMO.

Blacks support the Save America Act. Rural voters are also for it (the two key groups Dems claim the billwould harm). Dems have run out of excuses on not passing it. They are corrupt and if they don't cheat, they would agree with 83% of U.S. voters on this issue.

Dude people have been caught harvesting ballots. Going to homeless shelters and nursing homes etc...with a ballot "helping" those people fill out the ballot, then discarding the ones that don't match the candidate(s) they want. Much like people who have been caught drinking and driving, those people have done it "successfully" many times before and after getting caught and many more people have driven drunk frequently and never got caught.

I just walk to the polling location, show my dl and go vote.

Too many conspiracies out there about voting. As with most conspiracies they are largely wrong and discredited.
With the trillions of federal dollars at stake it’s naive to think that a party wouldn’t cheat. The Green New Deal and USAID put billions of dollars in Democrat donors and cronies pockets via tax credits and shady NGOs. Probably a few Republicans too.

Make it easy to vote....have an ID...those ID's should be free. Have the polls open 24/7 for 7 days...have the first Monday of voting be a federal holiday and have the Friday of voting be a federal holiday..

Done.
Aren't you a teacher? You already get plenty of days-off during the school year. 😉

Also, arent IDs already free in most states? Or cost like $20 and lasts 5 years? The cost of IDs wouldn't be what keeps people from voting.
