Look at that flat stomach less than six months after giving birth. I feel like I can empathize with Amit as my stomach is definitely in second trimester territory lately. She is only 22 and mentioned that wrestling through the 2032 Olympics is a realistic goal for her. If she has that long of a career, or competes even longer, like Helen or Adeline, she will probably end up as the most decorated female U.S. wrestler ever.

Elor is great at what she does but it beatable by anyone who can withstand her ties. She doesn't have a great leg attack series so if someone stays out of ties, works from distance and concedes they are going to start in the hole due to passivity points, she can be beaten with one takedown.

I'm kinda with Googles on this one, WRT to withstanding her ties. The world has had ample opportunity to strategize against her, and we haven't seen it happen yet. You never know where the next generational talent will pop up though, Amit's Snyder/Yazdani may yet encounter Amit's Sadulaev/Taylor. You certainly have described a sound strategy.

One of the reasons I think she'll be beaten is because she hasn't really faced anyone internationally of note multiple times so no one has had a chance to make adjustments. Her grip strength is otherworldly and you can see most of her takedowns come from her judo background so getting a feel would be important. I'm sure the one she beat 3-0 in the Olympic finals would like another shot or two.

I was thinking that I hadn't heard anything about Tamyra and wondered what happened to her. It doesn't look like a WWE contract should hold her back. From Wikipedia (so take it for what it is worth):

On April 24, 2026, Steele was released by WWE, ending her near three-year tenure with the promotion.[37] She wrestled her final WWE match on the April 29 (taped on April 10) episode of Evolve where she lost to Kali Armstrong.[38]

Apparently, her ring name was Tyra Mae Steele
