🚨 WOW! President Trump now has FBI Director KASH PATEL involved in the investigation to FIND THE LEAKER behind NYT's report that 47 switched Air Force One planes in Turkey because of a security threat — NYT

The fake news is PANICKING right now!

Subpoenas sent out, investigation is surging, and the leakers are trembling 🔥

It's simple: leaking sensitive security information regarding the president while he's OVERSEAS, literally BORDERING a country we're involved with conflict against, is betrayal.

WOW: Federal agents showed up at the homes of several New York Times reporters on Friday and served them subpoenas, just days after the paper’s reporting on security issues with President Trump’s new Qatari-gifted Air Force One.

The Justice Department subpoenas order journalists Julian E. Barnes, Eric Lipton, Tyler Pager, and Eric Schmitt to testify before a federal grand jury in Manhattan next week.

Their Wednesday story claimed that POTUS left Turkey aboard the old Air Force One as a security precaution, on the advice of the Secret Service.

NYT: “The subpoenas contain few specifics, asking only that the journalists testify ‘in regard to an alleged violation of federal criminal law.’ They were issued by Jay Clayton, the U.S. attorney in Manhattan. Mr. Clayton, who leads one of the country’s most prominent law enforcement offices, was recently nominated by Mr. Trump to serve as director of national intelligence.”

So you no longer believe in free speech or freedom of the press? You would have a fuggin fit if Biden did this but because it's Trump, you applaud him for intimidating journalists who are just doing their jobs. This is not something to be proud of. https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-1/

"The right to speak and the right to publish under the First Amendment has been interpreted widely to protect individuals and society from government attempts to suppress ideas and information, and to forbid government censorship of books, magazines, and newspapers as well as art, film, music and materials on the internet. The Supreme Court and other courts have held conclusively that there is a First Amendment right to receive information as a corollary to the right to speak. Justice William Brennan elaborated on this point in 1965:

“The protection of the Bill of Rights goes beyond the specific guarantees to protect from Congressional abridgment those equally fundamental personal rights necessary to make the express guarantees fully meaningful.I think the right to receive publications is such a fundamental right. The dissemination of ideas can accomplish nothing if otherwise willing addressees are not free to receive and consider them. It would be a barren marketplace of ideas that had only sellers and no buyers.” Lamont v. Postmaster General, 381 U.S. 301 (1965)."

Divulging classified information.
The journalists have a right to publish though they can be required to testify before a grand jury. Looks like the Times will be fighting the court order claiming the subpoenas are a brazen act of intimidation. We'll see how it plays out but the journalists should not be your target. This is how they make their living.

The Right to Publish: Under U.S. constitutional law—most notably established in the landmark 1971 New York Times Co. v. United States (the Pentagon Papers case)—the press generally has a protected right to publish truthful information of public interest, even if it was obtained from an unauthorized or illegal leak.

Let's see what happens then.

And this thread will never see @TigerGrowls again. That's the usual pattern for our Iowa friends.

Step 1: post a tweet with a Gamechanger that's gonna get the Libs
Step 2: Argue that " It's Coming"
Step 3: Courts toss the case for being ridiculous
Step 4: Growls starts a new thread with a new "Gamechanger"

Literally seen this hundreds of times in the last 6 years.

Here's the problem, when you're on the side of bad people who want to harm good people, it will never go your way. The bad guy always loses in the end. Mark it.

Wait for it! It's coming!
