However, from the hardcore maga's I know personally, the propaganda machine was in full force the whole time. Those people were still glued to social media and podcasts talking about the evils of Biden and how he was "the worst president in history."
It's where the "open borders" and "Biden let in 10's of millions of illegals" came from. The maga propaganda machine was REALLY riling up their base during the time that those on the left and the average conservative/liberal were just experiencing a milquetoast presidency with not much happening.
The maga propaganda machine is really impressive- they got everyone riled up over nothing for 4 years straight (and kept them mostly quiet) all in advance of the 2024 election. Everyone was under the pretense all ways fine (in a good way, because it was!) while they were stoking MAJOR fires in their maga base
Don't forget it was exacerbated by Trump announcing his re-election bid in 2022 and then his non-stop rallies criticizing Biden, so we really never even got a break from Mango.
On social media there's a loud rallying cry for that to happen. Right now he insists he's only interested in his Senate seat but I get the feeling that the party is going to push him to step up, especially if he beats Mike Collins by the margin the polls are projecting. He'd be a slam dunk against any maga candidate.
Now it seems most GOP pols insist on calling our troops " war fighters"...again and again.

Fox seems to do better when Republicans are not in the White House. Supposedly their ratings have dipped this year. It's harder for them to be propagandists. They are more geared towards hyper agitating and scaring the piss out of their viewers.
Part of that ratings drop might also be the fact that Newsmax has peeled off some viewers by going even farther to the "right" than Ruppert's gang.
Regardless, Fox's target audience remains the 65+ age group and they're dying off over the course of time.
for sure Trump is in a box....he can't walk away, and he can't just bomb Iran into an American victory. He got played both by beginning and staying the first ceasefire. He has to hope that his threats about destroying one bridge or one power plant for every ship hit in the strait accomplishes what he wants. But. I'll predict, if Pakistan is able to restart negotiations, trump will fall of that threat, and Iran will still claim control of the strait, and trump will get played again.
If you're going to start a war, you have to be prepared to finish it, and trump was not.
